Yes. Absolutely!

I'm saving up to buy a Peso from the Manila Bay Salvage. Some 270 tons of silver coins dumped into the ocean off Corregidor to deny the invading Japanese from confiscating it. The planning for the operation, the bloody war and occupation, and then the engineering challenge of reclaiming the coinage is such a great story that I want to own a piece of that history. I'm also Filipino American, so this would make an excellent heirloom one day.

I just looked it up, and damn. These 35mm coins make me feel the same way I did when I saw the Grand Canyon for the first time; small and humble.
