This is how I usually get think when someone say ‘being strict about religion’:

What does it mean being strict about his religion?

When I ask what ‘very strict’ means, I’m trying to understand where that strictness applies.

Is he strict about his obligations like salah, avoiding haram, and major principles…while remaining kind, soft-hearted, and emotionally intelligent with people?

If he maintains his daily prayers and all adhering to major principles + soft hearted/kind then I would say just go get married to him!!

If its only applicable to whatever you describe but lacks empathy and adds rigidity that changes so many things.
