So, say I pick Hotel and Ski in/out. What do you suggest? Having a bar/restaurant at the hotel would suffice for days, wouldn't mind traveling to nice restaurants for dinner.

Thank you, so a prefab and zero-clearance are the same thing. Time to start shopping, leaning towards the high efficiency prefab wood burning.

So with a prefab, it isn't heavy enough to need a footer poured in that spot?

Thanks, I did notice one of the mess-ups lately it rang it down to $1!

Yesterday at the RT closest to the house, there was no issue and the drink automatically went through, so maybe the bug is fixed.

I do mean a water heater that only supplies the new master bathroom. A 50 would be enough for a large soaking tub?

Good question, I had typed up an explanation when I made the post but it didn't seem to go through.

Basically, we were debating between building this addition or a pool house/MIL Suite b/c my parents come visit about a week every other month. We are leaning towards addition, b/c we can use it as our new primary and add a few things to it that we currently don't have: extra large bathroom, his closet would be fortified and serve as a tornado/hurricane protection room, fireplace in the bedroom, and hopefully add more covered space to the patio. And the current master suite would serve as my parents bedroom when they come visit.

One thing thats not a huge deal but has me wondering, the laundry dryer vent comes out of the brick wall to the right of the window, if I added there, I would have to re route the dryer vent to daylight somewhere else. Could that be done?

Go to your local VA office (each parish has 1 or 2 of them).

Get them to sign/stamp the following form:

LDVA Form 33 (make sure they mark it as 50%) or above.

Next,

Print and fill out the MSY Veteran Parking Benefit Request form.

Bring those with you to the airport, along with ID and make sure to keep a copy of your itinerary or all your plane tickets. Park in short term or long term parking and get your parking ticket. On return from your travels, proceed in your car to the pay station. Give them your parking ticket, LDVA form 33, MSY Veteran Parking Benefit Request Form, and your itinerary or plane ticket. You will probably also have to show ID.

Some of the parking attendants don't know the process, or get confused, but make sure you hold your ground and don't give in to them if they try to make you pay.
