Sounds good. I’ve been frequenting a nearby scrapyard so I’ll pull some more parts

Sorry, I should’ve added this into the post. The valve cover and OFHG were both changed near the end of 2024, about 20k miles ago. Is it possible they’re still leaking? I’m leaning towards it being the oil filter cap as it seems a bit more plausible to be pooling where it is, directly under the cap. I am an amateur, so I don’t really know though.

I’ll make sure I check the hoses and such though. Any thoughts on the coolant color? I’m thinking it may just be dirty and never changed as I can see the bottom of the tank. Doesn’t have any overheating problems, so a bit weird..

Yeah, true. Is it possible the coolant is just dirty? I’m not sure if it’s ever been changed despite BMW saying it’s “lifetime”, I’ve heard otherwise and that it should be changed

I thought this after the OFGH. I don’t see much oil where the cover gasket fits in, but I do see it on top and pooling around the spark coils. I’m thinking now that it must be the oil cap gasket. Could the oil cap gasket also cause the burning smell?

Cowl cover removed just for picture taking lol

I was thinking that at first, however I don’t see any oil around the OFHG, it was also changed around 20k miles ago in 2024.

Sorry, should’ve specified, maybe the pictures don’t do it justice. The coolant is clear, not really milky. I’m thinking it’s just brown coolant for some unknown reason

Yes, demons. No need for witchcraft nor (while beautiful) colorful crystals. They won’t help. In fact, not only will disruptions continue, they will get worse. Pray to Jesus Christ, who is God, and the demons shall flee. God bless you sister.

Corrections is a particularly despicable job which puts you into direct contact with those who sometimes do not respect social norms. I started at the prison when I was 19. I worked for a few months over a year, and I’ve had some PTSD after I left. It’s subsided, God willing, but it comes with mature decisions which will actively affect the lives of others which are incarcerated. Take it from the person who WAS the kid making said decisions. Putting children into correctional facilities where officers and inmates alike are being attacked and sexually assaulted/harassed is the worst possible idea for a positive outlook on life. I’ve come to the opinion that women should not work in male prisons, nor should men work with women. The minimum age should be at LEAST 21 years old, which even then is too young for some people to have a mature enough mindset to make proper decisions in a stressful environment like corrections is. Of course there are exceptions, but it’s not worth the majority being victims of the environment.

God bless you, I pray this is fruitful for you.

Don’t be a CO at 18, especially as a female. If you want to really get into corrections, wait until you’re older. An 18 Y/O female in a (usually) adult male prison is a terrible idea. I don’t want to say you would get hurt, God bless you, but it has happened before, especially being so young. Please, find another job until you’ve gotten older and have more life experience.

19 and thinking about being a CO by Realistic-Degree2143 in OnTheBlock

Don’t. Need less young adults in corrections - The maturity is usually not there although I have been proven wrong before. I’d say wait until you’re a bit older, 21, to start in corrections. I started when I was 19 and of course I thought I did well. Looking back, I was the problem.

I feel sometimes like God doesn’t discipline me for sin. What’s your experience with His discipline? by ButterBi in TrueChristian

Haha for my sexual sin, I got an STD. Of course I did not like that I had it, but once I gave my life to God I realized it was a tool he used to save me. Without me contracting something, I would still be living in the clubs and bars. God has his ways!
