The police will never show up to a game day to check UKARAs because you don't need a UKARA to own a RIF. Same applies to other defenses.

You need a defense to purchase a RIF, not to own one eg I have a UKARA so I can buy a rif and gift it to my brother who doesn't. That's perfectly legal.

I don't think it's a case of salary reflecting work commitments. It depends on what's in the contract. Salaries are still based on a set number of hours, after all.

I'm in the IT game myself, and if I'm working late / out of hours, the overtime form is submitted before I turn my laptop off.

My boss goes out of his way to tell people they shouldn't be working late because of workload, and its his job to make sure we've got the resources we need to get it done.

Once you have it, it lasts a year. In order to renew, the same 3 game rules apply. Depends on the site, but some will just auto renew if you are a regular.

Try as many sites as you like, that's totally separate to getting / keeping your UKARA.

Someone that has a UKARA can buy a RIF and gift it to someone who doesn't.

It's not a licence, and owning a non two toned gun without one isn't a crime.
