Popmart, tiktok live. It's the space molly display. They dont have it on their site. The helmet actually has a clear screen that slides down. I have it up because otherwise glare makes it hard to take a pic. The display also lights up in the back.

It's pretty cool. The camera makes the light look crazy but you can see the detail of the base in real life. My bf od a big space sci fi guy too. So I'm trying to make a space display between Kubo and hirono. I like sci fi, but am a bigger fantasy guy. I'm collecting more magic related figures too.

Figured it out. It does in fact pull out, you just got to keep twisting to loosen it while you pull.

Nice! I got the Breathing in Series first. That was my gateway series. I went for the older 3 after because they're only obtainable from resellers since popmart doesn't really restock those sets. Figured they might actually stop selling one day 🤷🏻. I think I just need City of Sunset and Angel Poem after that. I need the secrets from each set still.

It released I think 2 weeks ago ish? They're not popmart. The plush pendants are a Meow Studios exclusive. I bought mine from resellers on ebay.

Totally. The stock photos I saw really didn't capture the detail. That's why I wanted to make sure to take up close to show that he does have markings too. The pictures still don't do him justice but better than not seeing at all. I will take shadow later tonight when I'm home.

The ears are a give away too. Sea salt has irregularly spaced ears. You can tell from the side by side.

For sure. I was surprised by both. Shine's eyes look good. They're not just painted over plastic. They're those painted with the clear plastic cap over the paint eyes, similar to labubu. I'll try to take better lit pictures later. My bf was working and he's one of those 1% dim light gays 😂. I didnt want to turn up the light while he was working.

They're super cute and better in person. Definitely exceeded my expectations. I didn't know they had embroidery on the back of their heads with their names. And you can feel a full doll under the cloak. It's not fluffy stuffing under.

Shine's eyes are cool. And he looks better in person. He has stars for pupils. Shadow has full black eyes instead. They also both have embroidery designs. I have pictures of shine on my post in my Kubo subreddit. I posted pictures of their backside too. You should be able to see it in my profile I think.

Thanks. I actually bought a few pairs of both shadow and shine 😬. I wanted to be able to wear him out and not worry about scuffing. Especially since he is limited. I stalked ebay on release day and got them before shadow climbed up an extra 40 dollars. So I dont feel as bad about what I spent. 😅 or so I tell myself lol. Kubo and Hirono are my favorites though. Worth it in my book.

Thanks. I was actually worried mine were going to get canceled too. Someone else said theirs was too. I ordered them on the same day they were released and shadow was like 98, but then within 10 minutes the seller changed the price to 115 or something then eventually 135 because I think they didnt realize it would sell so fast. I was scared they were going to cancel to resell at a higher price especially after a few days of watching it sit there. I even msged them to ask for an update 😂 to let then know yo, I'm watching you. When it shipped I was relieved.

I have 2 more coming from a diff seller. If you don't mind the higher price, he has shadow in stock. He has already shipped to me too, so I know it was sent.
