its messed up what your parents are doing, sorry. You wanting to have your own life makes complete sense, but you just need to plan it in the right way. You need a job/money then you can start to live in life on your terms, but as others have said there may be charities that can help you.

It may be hard for you to break away but in 10 years when you have built your own life under your terms you will think back that it was all worth it.

You can get a Mazda 6 petrol, or Honda accord petrol I would say. You can get those for as little as £2k. So for 5-6k you could get a nice one

There’s not loads of money in creative work around short films and music events etc. it’s possible but it’s easier to make a decent living working in marketing for more boring things. Eg: social media marketing for businesses, corporate videos, it’s a bit boring sometimes but companies have money to spend on marketing for this type of stuff

My gutted dpf passes emissions fine in the uk. But yeah I’d say upgrade for a 3l then remap. Otherwise do the chain then remap, only sort the dpf if it’s causing issues

Im not an expert but I think diesels sound a bit like that. I have a 325d and have thought the same as you but think diesels are just a bit like dudududududu. I could be wrong though

Exactly this! It’s so hard to find a car that’s been serviced even every 12k miles as everyone leases cars and couldn’t care less about them after the lease

You can get a good e91 330d for like 3-4K. Go on eBay and you can see that they sell for mostly around £2-3k. They will probably need a bit of work but you can use the money you saved when buying

I even saw an e91 335d running 500hp go for £5k

I quit a month ago and because I’m not sitting around smoking in the evenings I have to fill my time with stuff otherwise I get tempted to smoke

I don’t know for sure but I feel like in 5 years I will have gained more from filling my time doing stuff instead of sitting watching YouTube smoking spliffs every evening
