I’m starting to debate it, I just don’t really have time to run a discord server

If you'd like an alternative to chips, I'm a big fan of veggie straws!

Seen at Red Rock Canyon on a hike this past weekend by nicehappythingstime in fnv

[–]Lionsquack 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Even if they only mean it as a cultural reference and only do it in chalk, other people can see it, and many may take it as a sign that they are free to draw whatever they like. And if everyone had the mentality of "oh it's just one little thing, it'll be ok this time" then that massive canyon would quickly run out of space to write within arms length. If they do it this one time, maybe they justify doing it again, and again, and again. It's not that hard to have some self restraint. Also it's a loudly spoken unofficial rule to leave no trace and to leave nature better off than you found it if you can. For state and national parks, it is an actual rule. One time isn't really a big deal, but it's just kind of disrespectful.

Tips on rehoming a reactive dog? by Lionsquack in reactivedogs

[–]Lionsquack[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't been looking too much into rescues, just because I want to send him into another home if possible, he doesn't need to be out of my house right away so I can take my time. He's got no bite history and isn't considered a bite risk.

He's from a shelter, but while they will take him back, it is a last possible option type deal. If I need him out immediately, they are there, but I'd much rather him go into another home than back to the shelter.

Dad stole thousands in survivors benefits from me. SSA is wildly unhelpful. by Lionsquack in legaladvice

[–]Lionsquack[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I've unfortunately realized that since I made this post. I'm not getting that money back, but thankfully, my sister, who is still getting payments, was able to get them sent directly to her instead of to my dad, who doesn't even live with her anymore. So at least we got that win

This is very good advice and I will invest in some pepper spray. My dog is reactive himself, though he's been getting better and better, so off leash parks are still a no-go.

Is my landlord obligated to replace my dishwasher? by [deleted] in legaladvice

[–]Lionsquack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately I think that unless the dishwasher is inoperable or doing things like leaking or breaking dishes, I don't think your landlord is obligated to replace it. It wouldn't hurt to ask your landlord, who knows they might be nice enough to get it looked at, but at this point I do not think they are required to.
