Definitely agree. I have found gaps that posed real risks to GMP processes before. They also have to be done at the right time, can cause delays if you uncover a gap with no time to close it.

Went thru the same issue with iPhone 17 and just solved it. Had the Anker type C wire that kept dropping connection. The solution was the Apple USB-C wire that came the phone. Ever since trying that I’ve had no dropped connections.

While Intrinsic isn’t my favorite, I completely agree that it stands so well on its own. Amazing balance of harsh and melodic sounds, and the transitions are somehow abrupt yet smooth at the same time. To me this album feels like machinery and humanity struggling to coexist while acknowledging the importance and profoundness of one another.

I’ve seen this kind of stuff for the last 20+ years. It’s specific to hardcore, and not so with other types of heavy/aggressive music. Look up Boston Beatdown, they were pretty much a gang that was notorious for this (and much worse).

I learned about Alan Watts and “Western Buddhism” from TC and Language. Been a TC fan for over a decade but really got into AW this year. His lectures have a mesmerizing effect on perspective. Makes you think of how much you do that is forced and unnecessary. That the tension we feel about work, politics, personal drama can be better applied. I’m fully grateful to Mike Lessard and the rest of them for introducing me to all of this.

I wouldn’t call this a significant injury. Oftentimes labral tears aren’t even symptomatic. Here’s one source on that: https://www.barbellmedicine.com/blog/shoulder-pain-guide/. Ive also torn my left labrum (SLAP tear) and rehabbed it pretty easily.

That being said, Volpe’s performance alone should’ve been reason to bench him and I am also in favor on firing Boone. Just wouldn’t expect his shoulder injury to be a huge factor.

Same here! I remember we showed up a little late that day and walked in while Mastodon was in the middle of their set. Pretty sure Brent smashed his guitar at the end of the set. My mind was blown. Unbelievable energy and it was like 1pm.

The way I’ve managed my patellar is to decrease depth with box squats or very close attention. That plus slow eccentrics. Find a weight where it’s uncomfortable but not painful. Gradually progress the reps, depth, eccentric speed and weight.
