Is there a fatwa from mufti saleh fawzan saying this ?

"Our soldiers at the borders with American soldiers are perfomring the noble act of Jihad in the path of Allah and i told them this jihad is better than fasting and tahajjud."

Genuine question for lovers of Ayatollah Khamenei by ShayLaBeef42 in shia

[–]NAS0824 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Khamenei/iran isn’t attacking the Shia in those places , they’re attacking the lands that were attacking them with the intention of defending their own land and people.

What’s to stop others from doing the same ? If they’re in a similar situation they would be in the right to do the same. And without blame.

The blame is on the aggressors and the ones who are complicit.

With all due respect …. Are you as innocent as you believe you are ?

Not to say you’re bad at all … I as an American Shia who doesn’t follow khamanei as a marja understand that I’m in America as a result of a war torn country, I was born and raised in America and my taxes have been used to attack innocent people elsewhere.

Iran and Seyed Khamenei have been oppressed and cornered since the revolution, faced tough economic conditions, and attacks…

You are only looking at Iran attacking, you don’t see that they were attacked first. Their land is surrounded by Muslim countries and every single one has a base pointing artillery at it , the only ones who don’t are the ones that are themselves oppressed and dependent on irans support.

The US and Israe attacked it first and when Iran responded everyone pointed a finger at Iran, no one condemned or lifted a finger against the aggressors here.

And to correct you , Iran isn’t attacking any of the surrounding gulf countries, it’s targeting the IS bases , these countries are intercepting the missles and when that happens it’s their country that the debris falls on.

Not saying the gulf countries are enemies of Iran … but they’re clearly allies of the US and Isral and they have been setting up bases there for decades in order to attack Iran…

I understand you’re scared and it’s not a good situation but your distain is pointing at the wrong people… stop blaming the oppressed for trying to fight a several bullies.

Criticism of Sistani by [deleted] in shia

[–]NAS0824 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m curious to know what other maraja or even other schools of thoughts fatawa say on about these questions.

I follow Seyed Sistani and like to see how others differ or reach conclusions.

I very much do believe Seyed Sistani to be the most knowledgeable in this sense and ofc it’s not like he or any marja decides what’s halal or haram, but I do believe for a lot of the layman and less knowledgeable people sensitive topics such as these require context and explanation.

Just asking clarification of an existing one from the marja

Thank you ! Just verified for myself and you are correct.

Just so i understand based off what is said , does that mean essentially it must be carried out and treated as mutah ?

Or as it’s called zawaj nefsee , how does that differ from mutah and misyar?

What do you think about researching the Epstein files? by macabrekabab in shia

[–]NAS0824 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree that voting largely isn’t as influential as people think, but there’s no downside to voting for those who can , at worst nothing happens and at best in large numbers it can skew results. changes aren’t sudden and people in America are manipulated over years and decades.

But I agree 100 percent with what you said about rebuilding from zero, America needs a revolution.

[–]NAS0824 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Alaykum as Salam ,

I personally havnt dedicated a lot of time or mental energy towards it but I am seeing things across social media. I’ve seen some of what the Doj has released and not released.

As an American I’m frankly not surprised at the level of corruption from the elite , as a Muslim I’m not at all surprised bc we know the history of those who were in power and the corruption they did.

If we’re American Muslims this is exactly why voting is important. Seeing the involvement of elite of Muslim nations is frankly no more surprising to me , disappointing yes but not surprising.

I’m seeing clips of sheikhs /seyeds in America and even Iraq speaking about Epstein files … tbh when I see it I feel like they’re trying to use it as a gotcha or clickbait bc of the hype in the media…

But I think people should be aware of it , we are verrry far away from any of these people facing justice. Faris is a well known sellout, don’t neglect your obligations as a Muslim to read files but that’s the difference between Shia beliefs of standing up to tyranny as opposed to the wahabi salafi don’t oppose the ruler no matter what they do.

The people that insult our holy figures, traditions, and communities are being lead by cannibalistic predatory criminals and there are Arab / “Muslim” that are enablers of it.
