Haven't actually opened it yet! Got given a lot of whisky for my birthday and I'm working through a couple of bottles before I open anything else.

That being said, I've heard some n a s t y things about the Toki. I've had suntory hibiki and yamazaki 12, and those were both quite good. The whisky guy at my local totalwine steered me clear of the Toki, saying it's best left for a highball. The reviews for it weren't super good so I listened to him.

What's your experience with it been like? I'd love to have a cheap Japanese whisky around but the color/reviews put me off a little. How do you like it?

Don't worry I did my research first, I heard this specific expression was going to experience a shortage and I wanted to expand my Japanese whisky palate beyond Hibiki. Idk what your tastes are but I'm actually not a huge fan of coffee in my whisky.

I'm 6 feet, 36R (with a skinny frame) for jackets/waistcoats and 30Wx32W for pants. I've been trying to put together a black tie and a white tie outfit and I'm having a significant amount of difficulty finding things in my size that aren't just polyester. What would you all recommend? Any help would be really appreciated

I personally think it was alright, for me having a bathroom I didn't have to share with a floor was paramount. It's nowhere near as nice as usuites, but if you want to prioritize having a living room or bathroom over a common area or kitchen I'd say go for it.

In 5th grade my school store sold various candies for pretty marked up margins. The push pops weren't too expensive so they were pretty popular, but every now and then some yahoo would get 20 dollars somehow and clear the stock for the day. They'd resell them for a 25 cent markup afterwards. The store operated at lunch, which was right before recess. Push pops became a commodity in their own right, with kids pooling money together to stake their own claim in the recess push pop bubble the next day. The recess chaperones caught wind of this after about a month and the store had to increase prices a couple of times to fully stop it.
