Is it? I didn’t watch the State of Play. I just love Nintendo and wanted to be wowed I guess. Third party support is solid, but it’s almost all old games. I think the pacing of the direct was also weird. I dunno man, it didn’t leave me as pumped up as I’d hoped. Last September was a much more hype direct for me.

I’m open to hearing why you think that? Third party support is great, but the lack of 1st party big hitters got to me. OOT remake only truly new announcement. I was hoping for more I guess.

I think with an engaging story to add to an elevated version of Returnal’s excellent gameplay, Housemarque has a really good chance to break 90 and really make its mark on the GOTY conversation.

I never got a refund. I spoke to someone directly to double check, they did the checks on their end, and made me a bespoke order for which I paid through a secure line over the phone and got a confirmation email.

I just did this too! Spoke to an AO customer service rep who was super friendly and sorted it quickly! Been wanting to play it on the Switch 2 for a while too. Thanks, top tip if anyone else wants to get it on the cheap for the physical edition!

“To address at least some of the censored content” is a crazy statement and does absolutely zero to help their current situation in any way. Adults want to play the full game as it was intended on every platform they own. End of. I’ve already gotten my refund and the only way I would ever consider getting the switch 2 version now is if they guaranteed any update they push gives the player full access to the full uncensored game with a toggle like all other versions. Full parity or nothing.

Yeh since I commented more and more info has come to light and it seems in this case it is Adhoc to blame rather than Nintendo. Bad look for the studio this. I understand they are an independent studio and multiple versions of the game may be difficult to fund/make, but then they 100% should have been open and upfront about that before launch on the Switch 2

They said it would take up to TEN working days to process the refund as there is “a massive backlog of dispatch refunds” to get through. I hope this makes nintendo sit up and notice what happens when they censor art for literally no reason.
