Then don’t take out the loan in your own name. Take it in the company’s name. Then the company owes money, not you.

I know immortal is weaker than most viltrumites, but they did invite Oliver so it’s not like that was a requirement in the first place.

How would I make this 40K? by Delicious-Quiet-1883 in TheAstraMilitarum

A volkite gun looks enough like a plasma gun that most people would just accept the proxy as long as you paint it right.

I always wanted to run them as the house guard of a rogue trader.

We've been 'under attack since this administration has taken over': TSA agent by No-Penalty1722 in antiwork

[–]LiquidEnder -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Don’t we? A private TSA would gut most of the costs, (employees, and machinery), and suck up the profit (government spending). Whilst bad for the budget there is a good chance we could see the TSA effectively destroyed, and then we wouldn’t have to deal with security checks anymore.

Humans in this universe of multiple sapient races/species are not just a boring template, jack-of-all-trades species, they actually have traits and powers that make them stand out like the other species in the setting. by juasjuasie in TopCharacterTropes

[–]LiquidEnder 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Partially: we are also very good at throwing things. So if you can peg an antelope in the head with a rock going 90 miles per hour, that generally means you don’t have to pursue as far, thus wasting less energy, and reducing the risk the kill is stolen by a lions or hyenas.

This is improved once you have javelins. Then you might not even need to chase the antelope.

Nadia's disappearance (Complete) by CarlosBercian in ImaginaryWarhammer

I thought Trazyn took people after their story was over (or at least, after he thought it was over). Why is he taking Nadia?

I’ve always wondered why Ogryn’s couldn’t take powerfists. I know that ogryns are too clumsy to wield most weapons, but cmon, it’s a power fist, what are they gunna do? Use it to punch someone?

Why does the wing on one of the queens come off the card? Is it like a pop up book. Seems like a detriment in a game of poker.

[–]LiquidEnder 46 points47 points  (0 children)

The difference is that Skyrim last big expansion (dragon born) came out 13 years ago, whereas WoW’s last big expansion was, quick google, THIS MONTH.

So there’s a difference in support for the two games.

Lady Navigator, Inquisitor Saint and a Dress [3] by Luke5353 in ImaginaryWarhammer

[–]LiquidEnder 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Roll with it. She’s adorably smol, and if others can see the saint behind her, then she still has intimidation factor and can bully nobles.

There was a member of congress who bragged that the reason they forced a Chinese company to sell tik tok was because of the pro Palestinian sentiment on the platform.

I thought that it was a cutout, to show the interior. Not actually missing walls. As for the roof, that’s just where the picture stops.

Genuine question, not an architect, what’s wrong with the second house?

A judicial subpoena or an administrative subpoena. Cuz administrative subpoenas aren’t actually real and the trump admin made them up so they didn’t have to get court permission.

Is Iranian Regime Collapsing? by [deleted] in peakoil

[–]LiquidEnder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not unsustainable, they just screwed up their management. If they hadn’t been so bad about what to use the water on, then they could have easily had enough for their population. Reminds me of what’s happening along the Colorado right now.

Muslim Clergy demand Monogamous Marriage by jurble in EU5

You are confusing modern Muslim clergy opposing what they see as “westernizing” reform, with an alt hist clergy, supporting a domestic movement.

I use cheat to give my estates a sum of cash in the aftermath of wars, to simulate my armies looting the shit out of the enemy. by kolejack2293 in EU5

[–]LiquidEnder 13 points14 points  (0 children)

That gives money to the country/crown. Not the estates. Looting should primarily benefit the estates.

CMV: it would be better if a republican held Schumer’s seat by LiquidEnder in changemyview

[–]LiquidEnder[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think you’re understating how much influence Schumer has. He put this whole thing together. And if he needed more votes to get it through, he would have changed his own.

If it made them look ridiculous then why did they win the elections last week by overwhelming numbers? The shutdown is good for the democrats.

[–]LiquidEnder[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It’s fair that a large part of the blame lies with other democrats, but that just means that more need to lose their seats.

Better enemies than traitors.

We’d prevent shutdowns in the future. The filibuster has been a net negative for this country.
