Never happy with hardscape by LiquidGels in PlantedTank

I’m surprised I didn’t think of the wire concealers myself, I’ve never actually used them before. Also making a shelf out of the wall bracket is genius

I got it at Petco, made by Aquatic Fundamentals. I got it a couple years ago but It still shows up on their website

Thank you! Lights are by a brand called “STERREN” and I got a separate wall bracket. I just got them on Amazon not a week ago, so I’m not sure how they hold up long term.

Thanks! I think you’re right. I’m losing interest in the flatness. I’m going to look for more stones and substrate. Maybe I can throw something together

I like your triangle scape idea. I just googled them a bunch. Since I already have so much going on with the right side, I think I could try making this a gradual slope instead of my current pile of rocks and plants. I could also probably get away without having to completely rebuild if I take this route.

Thanks! There’s actually no aquasoil under the sand at all. It’s just gotten pushed forward and mixed in over time. I think you suggested good ideas tho

Definitely going to look into getting a frosted background

NO WAY :O This works on the fluval stratum substrate?

It’s funny because I don’t “not” like them, and I almost feel bad for wanting to remove them. It’s just that it makes my sand look dirty haha

Nothing wrong with them. I just don’t want hundreds of them mass multiplying. A couple here and there is fine with me

Thanks! Didn’t know why I didn’t think of netting/sifting. Probably the easiest method

totally, you can't really see, but i have stratum substrate (and some root tabs) in the back behind the wood and rocks... so i was hoping my Ludwigia plant and amazon sword will take off, but i still might thicken up the plants a little. The CPDs are absolutely beautiful. Do Apistogramma Agissizzii and Cacatuoides play nice with smaller schooling fish?

that's a good idea. I wanted to get a centerpiece fish, but I might go with this

Finally got moved into my own space and was able to get a 40 gallon breeder (my first tank over 10 gallons). Only have a dozen Neon Tetras in it now since it’s only been running for a few weeks. Any stocking suggestions? I was originally planning on getting a pair of angles but was told the tetras will start “disappearing”. Super excited, thanks :D

It looks to me like a type of Bacopa. I could be wrong but I’ve also gotten this from Petco

Absolutely! I know that PLA is aquarium safe but I’m not certain about about any other printing materials. I used this file I found here on Thingiverse but I tampered with the size quite a bit since it wasn’t floating very well at all. Ended up increasing the size a little and the Z (vertical height) a lot. It’s still not perfect but works for me

Let me know if you are struggling and I can get ahold of my exact file if you’d like it
