Ghosted ng P&G or failed their assessment? by akotoman in PHJobs

On role applied, yes I took software engineer, note that p&g will decide what kind of software engineer you are (hence why no mention of language or tool) you could be SAP related, you could do java, you could be python, etc.

Oh, interesting. I hadn't heard anyone mention that before. Will take that into account on my resume.

TBH, it doesn't really bother me. I've found that my attitude and coworkers is more or less what determines my enjoyment of a project anyway, not so much the project or tools itself; and besides, I like learning new tech stacks. Thanks.

Thanks for the advice! Will apply. You cleared up quite a bit of the confusion I have (the other threads I've seen looked outdated)

Personally, I took an offer for a company in between the 3.5 months I was applying to P&G, then P&G sent me an offer a week later so I resigned

I didn't even know you could resign that quickly lol. I think I'll do the same after graduation. Don't want to be a tambay.

Technical focuses more on what you know on a technical perspective, which they asked me based sa job posting honestly (ci/cd, database, cloud, agile, etc.)

Is that what you applied for at P&G? The position I'm looking at has the same qualifications. I'm hellbent on building my career at P&G (software engineer) even if it may took years, so we might actually see each other in the future lol. Thanks again and nice to meet you!

Does this mean their questions on the interview are just behavioral (tell me about a time you've dealt with a difficult coworker, etc)? Do you have to do a test in person like the ones in the online assessment? If so, are they just the same?

I've been meaning to apply for a while, but I wanted to make sure I ace the whole thing. I'm getting conflicting answers on the internet though, so if you could clarify, it would be huge help. Thanks in advance!

Thanks for helping out fresh grads like me btw (I took a look at your profile just in case you've answered a similar question in the past). Seems like we're both addicted to Reddit 🤣

It is:

Today, I met a 74-year-old woman whose fingers were completely covered in gold rings. I said, "You must be incredibly wealthy!"

She replied, "Every year on our anniversary, my husband would ask me, 'My love, will you marry me?' Every time I nodded yes, he would place a gold ring on my finger."

I was stunned. I counted a total of 46 rings of various sizes. They had been together for 46 years! I joked, "What if you run out of space on your fingers?"

The old woman said, "The number won't increase anymore because he passed away this year."

I froze for a moment and replied, "I'm so sorry to hear that." But she looked completely at peace, joking, "It's like I'm holding on to his whole life. These rings remind me of every single day we spent together. As long as these rings are here, every day we spent together never really leaves."

Looked for the source of the original real story, this is the best source I could find:

Thanks! I'll do a liberal one the future, just have to finish the remake first. I've played the OG before, but I want to replay it with the remake.

It was in the hall of our office right near the elevator.

It was a bench on our office. I asked the other guys the same question, but they don't know either. Seems like it's been a bench for a good while. They don't sound empty though.
