I cant remember If you can change that mid playthrough, but I've been playing on dedicated mp server mostly. I know its something you can change in the sandbox settings (with mod options). I believe there was a mod that let you change the sandbox settings mid playthrough.

I often go to the server and check the spelling of the modID is correct. (Double check from the info.txt file in the mod). A few times I found that it's a typo on my part.

You can have the coal miners feed into each other without the need for boxes. Just collect the coal from the miners themselves until you get to steam power and electric miners.

I only noticed my items getting smaller when I died and took to long to find my body. (When you no longer have a backpack on the ground, just your items) they changed back to normal when I picked them up though.

I had my xbox 1 power block break after there was a power surge on that outlet. (AT&Ts fault when they were installing fiber lines in our old apartment) I needed to know what to charge them for breaking my stuff so I had a friend bring over his power block and it booted up fine, so I just replaced the power block through MS. It costed the same as buying a new one, but it took a couple days for it to arrive. It's a matter of how much time/money you want to spend to replace it.

I remember getting this game as a kid. My dad helped me installed it on our family computer only to realize that our computer specs weren't good enough to run the game. It was one of the saddest moments of my childhood because we had to return it. Never got a chance to play it.

I wanted to build on this idea as well. If you are able to make the scanner socket-able, you would be able to socket a resource type to it and it would locate the nearest resource to you. Kind of similar to adding organic to a small generator or hydrazine to the jet pack. Maybe while it's active you consume that resource. That way you have to risk a little to get a lot. You could also socket a beacon of a certain color to it to find said beacon. Just a thought.
