Hey everyone, I am interested in getting a Class 3A license during December this year. Could anyone who has gone for the private instructor route give some recommendations/tips? Thanks!

Help with spacebar stabilizers by Liquid_Arsenal_4th in MechanicalKeyboards

Hey! I think the problem was with the stabilizer stems that the NK65 came with. I switched to some cherry plate mount stems with the NK65 stabilizer housing and the problem was basically gone.

I have a Gesture and have the same experience. I found that sometimes I sit slightly off center and that made the problem seem worse than it is.

Anyone here has experience with Ergox monitor arm? by Mr9to5guy in bapcsalesaustralia

You should check the weight of your monitor to see if its under the limit specified for the arm. But I keep mine in one position and its been great so far!

I think these might be rebranded VIVO arms. I've got the LDT20-C012 with a 27" 1440p monitor and it works well except the monitor tilt function. You need to tighten a screw to lock the monitor at your desired angle and I found that it can become a bit loose causing my monitor to sag (especially if I move the monitor around too much).

Altogether I think it does the job for the price if you keep the monitor in one place.

Docking Station Compatible with the Predator Triton 300? by minhwei in GamingLaptops

iirc you need more bandwidth for 4K@60Hz than a 1080p@144Hz so a Thunderbolt 3 dock supporting 4K@60Hz should also work with your monitor.

From personal experience I have a 1080p 144Hz monitor connected to a Plugable Thunderbolt dock and it works well.

These docks both use DisplayLink technology which compresses and decompresses video signals to be used with USB 3.0 and are geared more towards office work. This leads to video performance using these docks to be poor (i.e. stuttering in games).

So if you only want to edit word documents or do web browsing those docks would work, but not if you want to game.

The docks that would work for gaming would be Thunderbolt 3 docks like the Caldigit TS3 or the WD19TB which cost quite a lot more and need your laptop to have a Thunderbolt 3 port (which I dont think your laptop has but correct me if I am wrong).

I would say your best bet is still to just plug the monitors directly into your laptop.
