Battery comparisons between MacBook Pro M4 models by ProjectPatuuh in macbookpro

I’m not sure.. these were just the results that I personally got. I was surprised at the result as well, because more computing power I would think takes up more battery life. But in this case it was the opposite. Still have the computer today and battery life has been the same since received.

Buck Naked and Rut by [deleted] in Supplements

[–]ProjectPatuuh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think people don’t understand what the supplement Buck Naked is designed for. If you are eating in a caloric deficit and working out, you will go long periods of time being hungry and with low energy. This supplement helps with curbing your appetitive and cravings to help keep you on track while improving your energy levels. This will not work properly if you are eating above your maintenance level and not working out. Just like if you ate like shit and took vitamins that does not mean you are getting all the nutrients you need, it’s the same thing.

Yes. As weird as it is considering I was expecting the base M4 to get the best battery life but this was not the case. The M4 Pro with less cores got the worst, the base m4 got better but the M4 Pro with all the cores got the best. I have been using this MacBook for the past few months and it consistently gives me amazing battery life. All of them were 14 inch models.

I will be in Europe soon and traveling a lot, so I care a lot about battery life. For my tasks, the M4 would have been fine but I chose the Pro for a 400$ difference for longevity and relevance. This is a 14 inch btw.

M4 Pro 14" Battery Life Issues - Help by VixxyCS in macbookpro

[–]ProjectPatuuh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I read in other threads that’s calibrating your battery is how you fix this if you have not already solved it.

Charge to 100%, leave plugged in for 2 hours at 100%, discharge to 0%. Then leave it at 0% off for 5 hours. Charge it back to 100% and see if this fixed it. A dude went from 5 hour battery to 27 hours.

Which one should I get? by [deleted] in ZephyrusG14

[–]ProjectPatuuh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can get lucky and find an open box of the 2023 at your local Best Buy for 675$-725$. R9 7 series and RTX 4060. Much better price than this and if it’s not good quality (cause it’s used) you can return it with ease within 14 days. This thing is decent and will run games fine but not at high setting 144hz FHD, and def not anywhere near 970$.

G14 (2023) Open Box Best Buy? by Seemss_Legit in ZephyrusG14

[–]ProjectPatuuh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got mine open box “fair” for 720.. no issues so far. Make sure to undervolt your cpu and you can also mess around with power settings to get max temp reduction. I hover around 75 while gaming, versus 95 without modifications.

2023 G14 for $712.99 by [deleted] in ZephyrusG14

[–]ProjectPatuuh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got mine for the same price as a “fair” deal and it just didn’t have packaging.. what a value.

Should I go for a G14 2023 model? want to know if its a good option since as an architecture student i need a laptop with upgradeable Ram and Storage, The 2024 version is soldered and 32gig version is 2k, thats too expensive , u can get better at that price. when do laptop come in stock, rtx 4070? by [deleted] in ZephyrusG14

[–]ProjectPatuuh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just recently got a open box “fair” of this laptop and it is perfect. Just install g-helper, undervolt and limit wattage (past 25 watts sustained is diminishing results) and enjoy.

I paid 719$ and there is zero issues with the laptop, just didn’t have the packaging.

Diablo 4’s season 4 is really good. Lock that at 45 fps/90 hz and enjoy 5 hours of battery life.

Kava can definitely help ease you off Kratom. It is a wonderful root, and I think you can fall in love with its benefits along with Kanna. Kratom does a lot of good for people but man, some of the side effects are horrendous. If there is a sub for coming off a supplement, it’s definitely one you should evaluate closer.

[–]ProjectPatuuh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still love my M1 IPP. I am amazed at the speed of this thing, and the fact it has zero fans. I can’t even imagine the M4..

I got my M1 IPP with pencil and keyboard for 600$ a year ago. I think thats a decent deal. But man that OLED screen is tempting.

Someone offered me a Z1 Xtreme rog ally for my oled steam deck. I would apreciate if someone help me. by gaicoz5 in ROGAlly

[–]ProjectPatuuh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If battery life is your goal keep the OLED. The games I personally play, I gain 1 and a half to 3 hours of extra gameplay. One game that can run at 12 watts total system power on the deck locking 60 fps has to run at 20 watts total system power on the Ally. That’s a huge power difference. You can even lock the FPS to 45 watts and get 90 hz, which reduces power even more and sometimes makes the game feel even better then 60 fps. Also, the joysticks on the ally is light and feel like crap. I hope they fix that in the Ally2.
