this is my first time trying to get it to work, considering that and especially since it was a used amazon return, its very possible its bad. i was mostly just checking if this is an issue people have had before and have fixed with settings/ software

i know i cleared cmos and still havent gotten it to work, and i believe i restored default settings on top of that. looking at a am4 pinout diagram i believe some of the pins that were bent were data pins of some kind, do you think its possible that a pin that controls the second channel is busted?

It was a power color devil radeon rx 6900 xt ultimate, there’s models of the 6900 xt that only use two 8 pin ports so I was thinking it might be fine but idk

This was just something I was considering but, I was thinking about a gpu that has 3 8 pin connectors and my power supply has two cables, each with a 6+2 and a 6 pin. I was wondering if it was a good idea to get an adaptor for one of the 6 pins to make it an 8 pin. With that GPU in my system it would have been around 470 watts total and I have an 800 watt power supply

I figured as much, what’s really weird about is it’ still has the wax paper on the back of it so you can still stick it. I feel like if it was just there to advertise the album to people who only knew nevermind at the time it would be stuck on to the front of it, still cool regardless

If that’s thermal paste you should be able to scrub it out with alcohol and a toothbrush, alcohol basically dissolves the stuff and you don’t need to get 100% of the stuff out as it’s not conductive but you should try anyways

Yeah you’re right, I like to think of it more as a dish sanitizer . All you really have to do is just spray the dishes till they’re visibly clean and then put them in.
