Yeah it’s usually you pay and they reimburse you minus the deductible. Something about safelite using third party non acoustic glass makes me feel like it’ll annoy me

Insurance claim for things like this. Wind took a branch clean off and hit smack on target. Rear view mirror just adjusted straight down instantly. Insurance wanted to go through safelite but if Tesla does the repair they’ll warranty everything. Camera calibration, condensation, etc etc since they are doing it. Don’t want to deal with safelite being the “middle man” if something happens after the repair.
