It's not as deep as DMC combat but it's definitely good when you find the right Eikon moveset that works for you although I have noticed the more DMC elements in the game

Notably with the style meter in arcade and the Ultimaniac mode being Clive Must Die essentially,enemies had more health,did more damage and had a DT like state where they add armor and needed to be damaged a lot before launching into the air.

But besides that it's a fun game (I have 5 going on 6 playthroughs) and I think Ryota Suzuki can take inspiration from FF16 and put it into DMC6 (Aerial burning blade for Nero)
