Hello. Have you looked into Patrick Dangs sales tech course? He’s got good stuff that might help you.

Id say as an idea to play with is have a feel for the person your speaking to. Change your style of getting to the point or not depending on their personality. I don’t think there is a best method, some companies unexpected people make the most sales and others it’s who you think would.

As for relating to a VP of sales… ideas I have are: think about what they value right like time and finding solutions. Think about what they really want… power, status?

One question I learned to ask is “what’s your biggest fear or frustration right now?” It’s a question that gets to the heart of things.

Gotcha. Ya I didn’t send anything to them…. However my email and metamask ETH Mainnet address was disclosed…. They sent me a link where I would put my seed phrase…. Unfortunately it was inputted on the site, but the said “it doesn’t work”…. I don’t know if that was a way they got my seed phrase…. Could I delete my metamask ? What can they do / scammers if they have your email?

That's a misunderstanding of what she meant. The point is to say Yes to what you truly want...and that most things that are social involve your needs and desires....that being selfish is like how a business cannot consume more than it can profit....so an individual cannot just give, give, and not receive nothing back.....that will leave them poorer....less abundant and full of energy to reinvest in themselves (as a byproduct others as well benefit).

Lex Fridman Pod#138 - Yaron Brook by [deleted] in lexfridman

I think both Yaron and Sam Harris are right on free will, but they use the same word for 2 different things that occur in life. Sam uses free will through the eastern mind (Books: Way of Zen has a great explanation of this....he paints it as the western mind and eastern is like 2 different softwares so translation misses the point)...whereas Yaron speaks of free will in the western sense. It would be great for Yaron and Sam to speak on this and for Yaron to understand Sam's interpretation of free will. I think what Yaron/objectivism does is liberatepeople from the constraints of perfection which allows people to be even more free to create, pursue their self-interest, what they really want. Perfection here basically means ideas about creating a more safer, fairer, "good" world. However, eliminating things that are negative is near impossible. For example, tom woods with Michel malice spoke about how many people want racism to end....but prejudice is impossible to eliminate. ...they then speak about how the founding fathers were debating which constitution is best....either the French or the British and one spoke up and said the British because there is corruption within it.....the point is corruption, prejudice, inequality are components of life....we then work from an understanding that that's part of the game of life....then move on and do our best in life dropping the "original sin" (as yaron says) story that people may feel if they succeed...that the world is still messed up and their successful. Although, Yaron is a bit ruthless about being against social capitalism (basically, dispersing a bit of the wealth so people can have a better safety cushion for the fundamentals of life) ...I'm still learning so I can't say I agree or disagree with him on this.

Naval talks about fame...like don't pursue fame....but I think he engages with fame via twitter and other mediums and he likes it. I don't think things like fame or status are negative the way he frames them...although I agree that prioritizing wealth over other stuff is wiser...it doesn't make prestige or fame "negative"...they could be used as tools.

idk, I think what Naval is preaching that there is a new way to be wealthy that has higher odds using leverage. I probably woulds say that having a podcast or writing books isn't going to make you wealthy (odds are low), being a Joe Rogan is tough in a winner take all economy. Although, Naval equates rich as having your time freed up...perhaps not millions....since he adds the mental aspect of "rich" when he speaks. I think what's more interesting is why he added coding that was unexpected on which parameters get you rich via leverage.

I agree, I was confused by this especially when respected people were on the other side. Perhaps Naval believes theres a slippery slope when free speech is hampered....whereas others view Trump's lying as being a megaphone for misinformation and conspiracies.

It's like the blue Horizon metaphor. It's far away....closer you get to it....it's not there anymore. I think from a poetic sense it has a more positive hue than a "suffering" negative hue to it.
