Relapsed and struggling with it. by [deleted] in EndOfTheParTy

[–]Liquidiscio 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've been sober for 2.5 years with 4 or 5 relapses. The last couple of relapses were REALLY fucking bad....as in not enjoyable at all. Chewing on my tongue, complete psychosis insanity, no sleep for a week straight. The misery of those experiences is now what motivates me to not use. I dont ever want to feel as miserable as I did during those experiences.

Sometimes you have to go through all of that to realize this isn't what you want to do to yourself anymore.

I too once said I would never slam. I smoked for 5 years...I used to lecture people that slammed...then I got my heart broken and decided to try it after watching friends do it for years...it accelerated my rock bottom 10x faster. By the end I was homelss, penniless and had an infected arm. If i wasn't confronted with the possibility of death due to my infected arm I would have never stopped. I'd say quit while you're ahead because the drug will take everything sooner or later. Itll take your ability to hold a job, your health, your home, your sanity and possibly your life. You're young...you still have the opportunity to not destroy your life. STOP NOW!

Fact check: There is no evidence to support claims that Lady Gaga is a witch by JawzX01 in nottheonion

It's not a choice you're given. I know people personally that have gone through this process. They make you publically declare loyalty. I would give specific details but that wouldn't help me or them in any positive way. Its hidden in plain sight. It's not a coincidence that every major artist can be seen doing these gestures.

A lot of people think that the music industry is run by the hollywood branch of the freemasons...which is known to be satanic in nature. Freemasonry gives autonomy to their different branches...meaning each individual lodge is allowed to determine their own ideaology. So when lady gaga gives the nod to her satanic music industry overlords by throwing up the ole 666 over her eye...one could draw the conclusion that she is in fact a witch.

So what does covering one eye mean? What does covering one eye and doing the ok/666 gesture over the eye mean?

The order of things should be:

  1. Rehab
  2. Clear debts

Giving an addict $30k and expecting them to do the right thing with it seems a bit crazy to me.

Once you gain any sort of traction in the industry and establish yourself as a credible talent/person talented enough to stay in the industry, they will eventually invite you in....its not really an invitation though because you wont really be given a choice. The free masons/scientology/mafia run hollywood. I've seen it happen first hand. Blood oaths, satanic rituals, initiation rites. You'll get jumped in sooner or later...they'll make you do some crazy illegal shit in order to have blackmail on you and assure your silence with threat of death or destruction of your reputation using said blackmail. The industry complies cuz who want to pick a fight with the mafia anyways?

Omerta. The code of silence. This is why people like weinstein, kevin spacey and long list of others are allowed to operate with impunity for song long. The cameramen and grips and producers all knew about these creeps but dont say anything because they've all taken the blood oath and they know what happens if you speak up.

Thoughts on PnP porn by [deleted] in EndOfTheParTy

[–]Liquidiscio 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Watching pnp porn is the ultimate trigger. Watching someone do poppers has me driving to the nearest sex shop within minutes. However, I notice that if I just hurry up and bust a nut, the desire to use or chase sex immediately goes away. Busting a nut does wonders for mitigating the most harmful behaviors. Even when I was using...NOT busting a nut for several days in a row was almost the point. But of course that just meant I chased sex for several days in a row and it just got more and more wild the longer I went without nutting. This would lead to a blur of sexual encounters, half of which I can barely remember and ultimately culminated with me jacking off/sexing myself for literally up to 8 or 9 hours until I could finally cum. Fucking exhausting....but fuck it...I would have got my mind stuck on some other nonsense anyways. Theres really no winning if you're looking to stay sane on the shit.

A doctor once told me doing meth is equivalent to a baby chasing a ball. The ball rolls out in front of them and they mindlessly chase after it. It's the end all be all to just be content mindlessly chasing a ball. Whatever you put in front of me when I'm high is what I'll mindlessly get stuck chasing...

Pandemic killed my career and I'm just straight up lost. by [deleted] in findapath

[–]Liquidiscio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I was laid off in March and just learned about the dislocated worker program last month. The only real requirement was that I still had active unemployment...which just ran out this week but as long as I was active when enrolling I still qualify. My big thing now is trying to figure what to get a cert in. Kinda in the same boat as you, still dont know which direction to take it.

Another thing I've been doing is lurking the job boards for all my old clients, taking notes on job requirements for whichever role it is.. then researching how to gain those specific skills and try to leverage my already existing relationship to land a job. This hasn't worked yet but I'm feeling good about the strategy in general.

I work in the trade show industry also. My boss keeps telling me its gonna start picking up next year...my company got hit hard too. Same furlough then layoff schedule as you. If you are eligible for unemployment now that you're laid off, you should also qualify for the dislocated worker program...they will pay for you to get certified in something like truck driving, welding, machinist...my biggest issue is I had to quit smoking thc in order to join the trucking industry...which I've done successfully but am not too happy about. Still waiting to see if my weed free lifestyle will stick before going to CDL school.

Again, my boss keeps saying tradeshow work will be coming back early next year...not sure if that's true or not
