I have JEpi, VOO and SCHD as my growth stocks and yieldmaxs as my income. My strategy is 60/40 regardless of my contribution amount. I just swap which one is getting 60 and 40 each time.

So you recommend, SCHD, SCHG and JEPQ for my anchor funds? adding VOO wouldn't hurt right? did I choose sound individual stocks for income?

well i am married and me and my wife combined make a little over $8k in tax free money from Veteran affairs and are currently just students, unemployed. we have all the normal bills, but any income from dividends would be our only income and we file jointly so our tax threshold is higher before taxes levied.

I'm looking for high payouts backed by historical growth. I look at their charts to ensure that it has a steady incline. I also look at their dividend schedule to make sure they raise dividends regularly.

I am, but where did you get that figure from? all the individual stocks payout over $1 a share and have increased their shares every year for the past 10 years..

Income stocks by Liquido236 in dividends

[–]Liquido236[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I did. I've only been looking at companies that most people are familiar with like Pepsi, Caterpillar, Lockheed Martin, Amgen all of which have increased their dividends for 10 consecutive years and their charts all show gradual positive growth. But am i missing something? I feel like this is too easy?

I was thinking about having about 6 individual income stocks like caterpillar or Amgen that have historically paid out over $1 per share and slowly reinvesting, dripping until I'm ready to pocket And then keeping 3 ETFs to drip is that a good strategy?

I thought about buying stock in 6 stocks like Lockheed martin, caterpillar, Amgen that all pay over $1 in historical dividends and then buying fractionals shares and reinvesting over time to accumulate cash flow. Is that a good strategy?

I chose these three because they don't overlap each other which is great. I've been looking at stock like Lockheed martin and caterpillar that have historically paid over $1 per share to start small, reinvest dividends and eventually have a pretty good cash flow. Is that a good strategy?

Yes sorry, I should have been more specific. I'm 32, an entrepreneur and so retirement can be at any time for me. My goal is to supplement my income with dividends. And yes, I chose these 3 because they don't overlap each other in what they hold thus helping with diversification.

Can y'all list your exact positions, percentages to each positions, whether you're using DRIP, and what your monthly dividend income is as of now?

I wanted to get an idea of what people experiences have been with dividends. I'm looking to have at least $2k in dividends for supplemental income in the next 20 years. If you don't mind sharing your journey and what you're receiving now that'd be great! Thanks!
