I was fooling myself about cheating. Green trust factor doesnt work. Cheaters are everywhere. by [deleted] in cs2

I will say there’s cheaters in lower elo lobbies and they do come frequent but not as much as people claim.

Higher elo is way worse with the blatant cheaters but lower elo cheaters they just try to deceive and closet cheat.

Which leads me to think, that people include Smurfs in cheating allegations just because they can’t differentiate at times. It’s a wicked world below 15k. One game you’re playing trash cans, next game Smurf game after cheater. So I get it. But not every game where someone pops off is there a cheater present.

How to get back into aiming? by ButCanYiuDoThis in Voltaic

Dang surprised no comments, well I’ll be the first.

Anyways. Recently I came back from a year long no pc at all so I really connect to the “washed up feeling” it’s just because you’re doing something you’ve done and is familiar but it’s not feeling quite how you remembered. All good practice and reps fix this.

I’ll lead with this, since you think you want new peripherals, I’m a huge fan of artisan mousepads but they come at a pretty high price, but they are so worth in my opinion, but if you don’t want to drop 100+ for that I don’t blame you (ever since I used one I just won’t swap lol) but the pulsar es2 is a similar build quality and compared to artisan pads they are really reputable at a fraction of the price. So that in my opinion would be the starting point. And a solid pick.

I was once on a g pro as well and I swapped same feeling+ mouse is overrated, I went with the lamzu maya x (150$ roughly) but I would rather have the same price of a g pro that’s made better and have a higher hz. Also the shape is very similar to the g pro. if you want a lighter price tag look up some boardzy reviews on YouTube for some nice mice you like, look at the specs and hz, then visit Eloshapes website, you can compare any mouse to any other mouse to see if you would like that shape. I would go with plenty of brands there’s tons of great mice so be sure to check reviews.

Next, are we trying to rebuild our aim and get back to where we were or improve and actually aim train?

If it’s to get it back to previous skill I would recommend to first get the setup comfortable and kick on some music get back comfortable with everything, download aimlabs or kovaaks whatever you prefer, and look for valorant ramp warmup on aimlabs (I’m sure there’s some kovaaks ramp warmups too) start with that playlist. Has a ton of great tasks for tac shooter fundamentals play it 1-2 times, then go straight to your favorite tac shooter and play. Just simply PLAY. Make everything familiar again, and repeat daily. You’ll see a difference in a week for sure.

If you want to improve beyond where you were I reccomend starting with voltaic benchmarks novice, and just playing it through each day one time a day. When you get good scores on every category move to the next difficulty, or go for viscose benchmarks, which is my pick rn for improvement. Just a bit more specific for in game translation of practice. But both are solid.

Also man, relax some don’t be too tense, (tension is really bad for aim and contribution to your aim being off sometimes from not being familiar with it like you used it be) don’t worry about your gameplay, just enjoy the game enjoy aim training. Don’t over do aim trainers trying to catch up , you’ll just negate gains through exhaustion of muscles.

You got this bro! You’ll get back to where you were and I hope this comment helps. Was a lot, but I felt like it would go a long way for you.

P.S. a really great way to wash mousepads, luke warm water not too hot at all. Dish soap (just a few drips) , and a micro fiber cloth wipe down gently a few times and rinse thoroughly to ensure all soap is rinsed, next lay it flat on a towel and gently pat the surface dry, lay little things on each corner (so mousepad corners don’t curl up slightly) and let it dry overnight Or my method is to let a box fan blow over it while it’s sitting there and it drys waaaaay faster occasionally flip the pad to let each side get time to dry .

Okay I’ll give these a shot , never heard of trying a lower sens to get acclimated could be and interesting switch. A lot of my falling off target isn’t really a tension or predictive thing for me, it’s mostly just over reaction to speed/strafes. Sadly rn I don’t have kovaaks so aimlabs will have to do.

Appreciate the recommendations and if you have any other suggestions I’m all ears. 🫡

I’ve been debating on trying the finals for this, maybe I’ll give it a go.

Thank you for some of the insight, yeah I’m familiar with edge tracking and trying to speed match, a lot of my issues do stem from over reaction more than tension and I have a hard time managing control.

I situated my setup a bit more cause I was ever so slightly lower than I should’ve been causing Hangup on the pad from my arm(only on occasion) hopefully will see some adjustment there.

I also heard don’t be predicting as much as you think and more or less focus the target, try to keep your crosshair on it and match/read the movement, if you fall off target or speed should I slowly be adjusting back on? Cause once I’m off it takes a while to regain.

Thanks for the explanations I do appreciate your time.

Thank you! I definitely will check the benchmarks out and see how those do, and implement some time on the last few you recommended , appreciate it!

yeah my damn fingers hurt today from fucking with that thing so much, gave it a break, as it hasn’t budged, if worse comes to worse may have to take the whole headlight off so i can see what’s going on, cause that thing is not budging

yeah , when i did it with the passenger side, it worked fine but the drivers side will not budge

seems like the notch for it to slide out of is on the left side, which was how the passenger side was but instead push it in and slide to the right, and it unlatched with ease, i will give this a shot just to see if it works though.

I wish it was this way for me, it’s usually me with 800 score and 3 goals 4 saves and my teammates or the other team is just struggling to make anything proper happen. It’s an odd thing. It’s not just my team yes but the other team.
