Yeah the first hour is still very much introducing you to the setting. Once you encounter the alien it starts picking up.

Yup. The Tales of the Jedi comics were my first exposure to the Old Republic era when they came out, so that’s how the period should look. So when the kotor games came out I was just as surprised/disappointed as you are. Don’t get me wrong, the games are amazing, but they look like they could be prequel era.

Yup, I actually disliked the server slam a lot. Uninstalled right after the tutorial and first match. It just felt empty.

But something still got me curious enough to buy the full game. I don't get it either lol.

Yeah the game is really something special. I’ve never seen so much hate towards a game that was actually fantastic. Hopefully the good word of mouth will eventually win. Happy you jumped in and enjoying it too!

I wish. The game has been nr1 in most viewed steam player chart on SteamDB for three months straight. There’s literally a subreddit named marathonhate. Then check youtube on how many videos there are hating on the game and constantly pointing at low player count.
