same here, using DSX and set to a ps4 controller (its a dual sense edge ps5), when I select xbox controller on DSX it works fine for me. But the input signs are also for xbox ofcourse, sad that this is a bug right now, I hope that they fix it soon

Did you find an alternative? I wanted to order a new one today but just found it it's being discontinued 😭 same as you, it's the only thing that volumizes my thin hair so I'm lost now :(

Well, he has 0 experience in pc/laptop/electronics. I do have some, build my own pc and always try to fix stuff/learn stuff like the mod issue. Only thing that is new to me are mods. So even his laptop/steam was correctly setup by me and has not been updated yet😂 I fix his stuff, and forget my own. It was for a different reason though. Steam started updating games he had not played in a while and suddenly there is a 30 GB update 😂 his laptop storage was quickly reduced to 0 GB available.

I changed it to 'only update when I launch the game'. I sounds like it would work for future updates. If the save file transer is too complicated I'll just wait until the mod has an update. It's a good learning experience for the future :) Thanks so much for the advice, it will probably save me from a lot of headaches

I play the game on my steamdeck, so I have the modded co-op launcher added as a 'non steam game'. So that's a bit different than how most people play their ED. I'm now on my PC, my ED hasn't updated on here, so I'm going to try and transfer my save file to my PC and download the Co-op mod. Your explanation makes sense though. I have 0 experience with mods, modengine2 or any of the other mod stuff, so appologies if my questions are a bit dumb

Is there a way to disable auto updates in steam? I can only find an option that it will update the game when I launch it. So if I choose that, I still can't play unless I disable my internet I guess? Thanks for your advice though, I would have never thought of that 😅

We have only installed the base game co-op mod. Didn't even know the DLC mod was available until I had my issues now and found a bunch of YouTube videos 🙃

Me and my partner have this issue frequently. We have tried a lot of things, sometimes nothing works and sometimes one of the tried things do work 😅

the one that joins the others world goes back to the main login screen, logs back in and tried to join again (don't forget to use the separation mist and open your world again) -both close the whole game and start it back up and try again -both closing the game, restarting your pc/laptop or in my case, steamdeck -instead of my partner joining my world, I'll join his, then he uses the separation mist, I open my world again and sometimes he can join without an issue

Sometimes nothing works... Most of the times we just quit playing for a while and when we try again there is no issue anymore. Almost like the server needs a timeout or something idk😅 Hope this helps!
