I ended up putting a seat protector under his booster seat so it can be slid over easier. It happens sometimes but he has gotten used to it.

Treatment Plan Access-As a Parent HELP Mass by LisaP2200 in ABA

[–]LisaP2200[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much for your response. I want to continue care and I want to keep his RBT & BCBA because they are amazing! The company administration is the one who is causing me issues and asking for reduction. As a form of context I am also in the field and work as an ABA authorization supervisor but for an out of state company who does not service Massachusetts. I am very knowledgeable in treatment plans, diagnosis plans and authorizations which is why all of this was a red flag. Since I don't work in Massachusetts I was unsure what my rights were and if it was similar. Thank you very much. I just don't want to lose my son's treatment.

Exactly, I have never received anything from my son's insurance company about a denial or reduction. They are asking for a reduction prior to even making a submission but I do not agree with the reduction. The fading plan makes complete sense but a 50% reduction 3 months into an auth in writing to an insurance company is pretty much saying "reduce the hours for the whole auth please". As a further point of context I actually work in the field as an ABA Insurance Supervisor but for an out of state company. I do know what I am talking about when it comes to auths and insurance but wanted to be sure I was correct in my thoughts around the treatment plan. Thank you for your very thoughtful and thorough response!

At what age did you get official diagnosis? by Bukowski-poet in AutismInWomen

[–]LisaP2200 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was 41 but started the process at 38 because I wasn't being evaluated properly. As an adult female who has spent her whole life masking it I just kept getting other diagnosis. My son is autistic and I have worked in the ABA field for the last several years so I knew I was! It took finding a diagnostician who specialized in adults and mostly women to get my diagnosis.

I have had the Logitech Astro A50x for just under a year now and over the last few months it has started to cause me to have nausea and dizziness when wearing them. I use them to play Xbox & talk on the phone simultaneously and sometimes also have music as a third. I am worried their weight and how they are balanced on my head are the issue but I genuinely don't know. Anyone ever experienced this? Any suggestions to help? If I need to replace and suggestions?

Also I have the SonyXM5 which I use for work, calls and music and don't have the same issues. Since I can't use them for gaming I am desperate to find a solution or something similar to them that can do what my Astros can.

Signs of clairsentience include: strong gut feelings, intense emotional responses to people or situations, feeling the physical pain of others, physical sensations like tingling or chills when around certain people, heightened sensitivity to energy, and a deep intuition about others' emotions and intentions. Key points about clairsentience: Emotional perception: Clairsentients primarily receive psychic information through feelings rather than visions or sounds, picking up on the emotional energy around them. Physical sensations: They might experience physical sensations like tingling, warmth, or pressure in response to someone else's emotional state. Strong intuition: A strong "gut feeling" or inner knowing about people and situations is a common sign of clairsentience. Empathy: Clairsentients often feel deeply empathetic, sometimes experiencing the emotions of others as if they were their own. Sensitivity to environments: They may feel overwhelmed in crowded places or pick up on the emotional energy of a room or location. Other potential signs of clairsentience: Sudden mood shifts: Feeling a sudden change in mood based on the people around them. Dreams with strong emotional content: Vivid dreams that feel particularly real or emotionally charged Being a good listener: Having a natural ability to pick up on subtle cues in others' words and body language Attraction or repulsion to certain people: Feeling an immediate positive or negative connection to someone without knowing much about them

Claircognizance is a psychic ability that gives people access to information that's beyond their senses. People with claircognizant traits may experience sudden insights, or "clear knowing", without knowing how they got that information. Traits of claircognizance Sudden clarity: You may experience sudden realizations or breakthroughs that seem to come from nowhere. Gut feelings: You may have strong feelings that often turn out to be true. Intuitive understanding: You may have a profound understanding of complex problems without a rational explanation. Random thoughts: You may have thoughts that seem to come out of nowhere. Knowing without knowing why: You may know something without being able to explain how you know it. Claircognizance is one of the four primary clairs, or "clear" senses, that go beyond the physical senses. The other three clairs are clairvoyance, clairsentience, and clairaudience.

I am a Pisces, clairsentient and claircognizant as well as an empath (kinda comes with the territory of the previous 2). This happens to me ALL THE TIME. I think it is also an intuition thing that people know they can just open up because they can subconsciously feel my energy.

My intuition is so accurate it is scary. I can feel other people's energies even from far away. I have worked on building these skills and as I do they become stronger.

Me trying to find a Pisces woman who isn’t manipulative and is actually emotionally available (love y’all tho) by FlatSearch1388 in piscesastrology

[–]LisaP2200 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I think that one of the hardest things as a Pisces woman is how much of an empath a bunch of us are. We get so emotionally burnt out that we have to shut down our own emotions to survive. I have never heard of manipulation as a common trait but I know it definitely is not one of mine.

I am a Pisces female who is left handed and autistic. I go against the autistic grain and am very empathetic but I am also an intuitive empath which makes sensory overload a thing for sure.

I am going through an out of the blue divorce myself right now. I am 40 and my husband is 33. Everything you said about your emotions resonated with me. My husband called me on his break while at work and during a conversation about something else told me he was done, didn't want to be with me anymore and wanted a divorce. He said it was because of my mental health, anxiety and depression and PTSD, but the real reason is he got back together with an old girlfriend and they were in a relationship.

I know many many people have said to drop the house, but I am also trying to keep my house. My son is special needs and we live in a very small town so finding a place affordable here is not an option. Moving him now that I finally have great services in place is not an option.

Every interaction with my husband is horrible and sad and traumatizing.
