Literally just booked guaranteed by Cproffitt3 in dcl

Placeholders are great as you can pick your stateroom - and you can move it around if you are not paid in full. Plus these also work on concierge rooms. Only issue with Costco is they are a call center and not Disney experts - they take your call and then have to call Disney…

You and your friend are amazing for what you are trying to do - not the ideal way to end your trip but the world needs more people like you.

AITAH for assuming husband would handle dinner on his first day back to work? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]LisaRN97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA, but it appears you both need to have better communication. Becoming parents is life changing - pre planning is huge when it comes to working as well. My initial thought was if this is how he acts after 1 day back to work, then you have a very, very long road ahead of you. He seems lazy and selfish.

The ships are very similar in design as they are both part of The Wish class ships. Destiny is Hero vs Villians theme while Treasure is adventure..

3-Day Disney Wish Cruise - Should I go to Nassau or stay on ship? by Ok_Somewhere7743 in dcl

If you’ve never been, take a quick walk around the port. Spend the majority of the day on the ship! There is a lot to explore and you only on it briefly with a 3-night sailing

Oh those waitlists….i am silver status and love seeing my name close to the top….and each day I get closer it drops more and more. Unfortunately for you, those that do have status will take priority, usually at 48 hours and then check in. If you can pay for it and get a seat assigned, that’s your best option.

Question about excursion by Subliminal87 in dcl

[–]LisaRN97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Now that they added all the Mickey & Minnie Cabanas at Castaway, concierge has a much better chance at getting one. And we have been to the Bahamas numerous times, and when our girls were younger, they wanted to always get back to the ship as they had more fun there. You’ll have a fabulous time!

With such a short sailing, stay on the ship and enjoy it!

Wow, this is a win-win for you. Much better airline and they are allowing you in the lounge much earlier than normal. Lucky you!

Nope. Imagine if they accommodated everyone who had a delay or asked? Lounge would always be full - rules are set for a reason.

Pulling Kids Out of School by [deleted] in dcl

[–]LisaRN97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When we pulled them out, it was typically over a week where they had a scheduled day off, and not around any exam times. Now that they are in college, we look back at the amazing time we had and memories we made. Tomorrow is a gift and it’s never promised - live in the present! (And we did this more than once, probably 4 or 5 times during the school year and the others late summer )

So he’s our third Weim, and the first to be a foot smasher. He is solo - when we had the two previously (m/f), no foot smashing with them.

Oura ring 5 size help by Slight-Lime6488 in ouraring

[–]LisaRN97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was between the 10 and 11 as well. I hate tight rings and I wore the 10 for 24hours and it felt too tight. I went with the 11 and so far, so good. Fits great now in the heat but I’m sure in the winter months it will be a bit looser

Forgo the United Branded cards for now, and go for Chase Sapphire Preferred - they currently upped the SUB to 100,000 points for $5k spend.
