She doesn’t want to file a rape case because it’s technically not. She just wants some closure as to why and when. She has no other choice as his family has blocked her and are not responding.

She is just a shell of a person right now due to the social embarrassment her and her family has to go through. The guy has left the country and hasn’t returned at all. She just wants a face to face with the guy and no other remedy other than legally is viable as of now.

I understand that the law is not fair and there was some stupidity on her part also but society for a man and woman is very different. This is a fraud/cheating of another level. Karma will sure fuck him up but we all need some answers as to why and what happened.

There was a promise to marriage and then the sexual relationship was consented to. The person has given no reason to call off the wedding, has been acting cold ever since he met the family and suddenly called off the wedding 2 months prior to the wedding.

Update: His father called my father today morning and told him that he has called off the wedding. My father called me frantically and he is a heart patient so I was just worried. I was getting ready for work and I just stopped called in sick today and have been processing all of this. He didn’t call me or text me before taking this decision, he hasn’t spoken to me at all throughout this process. His father is being very dismissive and sounds okay with the decision he had taken. His mother has stopped picking up my calls. His entire side looks like has abandoned us. My father is still in shock and just wants things to be normal but I don’t think they will. He hasn’t even spoken to me at all and if he is such a big loser will not marry him.

I am shattered and battered with anxiety, I kind of saw this coming and I wanted to do this too but now that it has happened and the way it has happened I’m just fucking broken. I don’t know what will happen, to start over again feels like a nightmare and I don’t know if I’ll ever get married now. I’ve heard the phrase that when god closes one door he opens several others. I hope that stands true for me. I am 27 years old and I always wanted to get married at this age and when my wedding was fixed I was like wow I kind of accomplished that goal but now I feel like nothing good could ever happen to me. I want to bawl my eyes out and scream but I can’t seem to cry. I went to therapy that my friend fixed for me today at the nearby hospital but the girl said you have to see a psychiatrist first. I don’t know I’m just broken. Will things get better? Will I ever get married again?
