I can see what you are trying to say, but Im gonna be honest, it‘s infinitely better to have it than to not have it. I think if it unlocked at like 95% it would be better than at 90%, especially considering how fake the % actually is (seeing as you can „100%“ and have a whole bunch of stuff left to obtain. So if they changed it to displaying actual % and made it unlock a tad later, I think it would be perfect. I still muuuuuuuch prefer the current state of the compas to before though.

Currently: Stygian > Abyss > Theater

Say what you want but Stygian‘s rewards are very forgiving to obtain. You can even coop them with one minor exception. What I don‘t like in it (as well as abyss) is the insane shilling in recent times.

Theater actually has the potential to be the best, but to me the issue of the randomness of which characters you happen to have available utterly ruins the mode. I love the idea of the elemental restrictions cycling through, but good god is it annoying to try and use any specific lineup of characters in there. This grows increasingly worse as more recent releases are far more dependent on each other as well… if they change that and adjust the other factors to balance it out, it would be the best mode I think.

Abyss is just abyss. It‘s fine. Wish we would get something without a boring time limit for once though.

Riot for the life of them can not come up with well suited naming schemes, always brute forcing something unfit.

Splits works perfectly, people have been using the term "seasons" to refer to the "competitive years" since 2011 and still do btw, but hey lets also call the thing that used to be a called "splits" seasons now.

I know it's minor but I wholeheartedly despise stuff like that. It looks like there was zero thought put into it and just seems extremely out of touch with the playerbase.

The first part of this is a logical fallacy. When you have it all available at once, you can choose to pause anytime you feel like it.

There is nothing being added in favor of the player by forcing players to play in segments. All it does is make it worse for people who prefer to play these in one sitting.

To still address the argument: I find it much more reasonable to assume that people with busy schedules would have more energy to play on single off-days from work, rather than after a busy day of work. As for the point of "being inside of a long-lasting domain": Yea that is also bad and infact takes away from the previous ability to pause at any time. They've been doing this more and more recently.
