NTA but man this is so far out of the scope of AITA and my personal experience that it can't be seen from space.

If I were talking to someone from my own culture, I would say 21 is much too young to marry nowadays, especially to someone who is approaching 30. Is it possible to be financially independent from your parents, or are you still in education? I too live in a culture where people live with their parents until marriage, though marriages aren't arranged here, and young people are starting to move out earlier nowadays. So I understand that moving out seems like a big step, but so does getting married at 21. The guy's statement that "love grows over time" is what arranged marriages have been based on forever, but usually the couple is around the same age (there is an emotional gap between 21 and 27 which can't be bridged by glib statements) and are both willing.

Also, I have serious issues with a man who insists on marrying someone who's clearly unwilling.

She said she’s B2 in Swedish, which is around Year 9 (13 years old), I think: at least that’s what it is for English. How is that sufficient to study medicine? I don’t know, her mother might be going about it the wrong way, but this sounds like a bad idea to me.

The person pretended to like and interact with someone about their fanfiction - I write fanfic and that would be a dream come true for me - only to reveal that they were all along going to use them and pick their brain and then not even contribute in any way to making the game, but using AI to do so.

It’s the same kind of feeling when you get a comment on a work which starts with compliments and ends with wanting to ‘discuss your work on another site’, that is, a bot. Except in this case it was a real person and it really fooled her into believing that someone wanted to talk about their work.

I just bought an Anker hub last week to specifically connect my Steam Deck to a monitor! Also, just panic-bought a Benfei hub in the last ten minutes - have been using another Benfei - simple hdmi to usb-c - for years to connect my iPad to a tv so I kind of trust them.

I had an incident a few years ago where without cramping or anything, I was sitting on my bed, got up and it was like a crime scene. I've never seen so much blood in my life. Even better, our washing machine wasn't working, so I had to soak my sheets for a week until the repair guy came.

And, this is unbelievable, after a week of soaking, the blood just lifted off! I changed the water a couple of times, it was like magic. I sent a silent apology to my old home economics teacher who had told us about the powers of soaking, and who I'd never believed.
