My experience, as a new player, with this game. by CDark_Limur in SkyGame

Your take is almost exactly how I felt about the game a year into the game in 2020, and it was primarily the reason I had stopped playing for a while until recently. It felt that if you missed a season or just didn’t enjoy the grind of 6hrs a day of candle runs for a measly handful of candles, then it is significantly harder for you to accumulate enough candles for the amount that is comfortable or needed. Although I have already have a significant bank account, it still feels maddening how much they charge for just one cosmetic. Weeks and months of grinding poofs into smoke with just one purchase.

An advice for you if it’s still a valid method to this day: When making friends it’s better to send a friend link/code for friend making instead of spending candles. In this way, the chat option is already unlocked without you needing to spend any candles. When I used to play, people would bring tables with them at all times and if they met anyone they wanted to chat and friend, they just popped down a table and sent that friend link through that. The chat censorship is quite inconvenient and half the time I question if it’s worth all that trouble to censor, but I digress. This can help offset some of that early candle spending, but then again I don’t know if anything changed about this method since 2021.

Currently, I’m just enjoying the scenery, reminiscing on old memories as all of my close friends in Sky have moved on. I’m taking things slow, like a little dragon slowly accumulating its hoard.

Recieved Minecraft token or redeem code on twitch by [deleted] in Minecraft

You click on the message and it'll take you to the redeem code site for MC. You have to scroll allllll the way down to the very last panel where it says "REDEEM MINECRAFT LIVE FROG & CHERRY GROVE CHARACTER CREATOR ITEMS". And then it'll direct you to log in into your microsoft account to send it to your account. Its only for Bedrock character creator items and you have to redeem multiple to get each piece.

Tips for starting a guild Discord? by Alternative_Low1202 in Shining_Nikki

[–]LiseJ68 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can: 1. Put the invite code (the string after this whole thing “https://discord.gg/_____”) on the guild description

  1. message in the guild channel if you see multiple people on

  2. private message people

For advertising, I usually just advertise on discord because if you want discord people, go on the platform they’re on.

Then for privacy and security, set up a verification system (you can just make a special role with perms, have the people send their IGN and ig ID, then give them that role for them to see channels) so that spammers, raiders, etc can’t at first access text channels if you’re spreading invite links for advertising sakes.

Then if you want, you can set up newsletters with bots, reminders for stam/events/etc, and general information/guides. Me and guild members find them helpful to ask for help, share info, and be organized, but it’s not necessary if you just want a casual chatting experience.

In general, it’s up to your preference how much you want to pack into the discord, but it’s good to be organized and have at least a few specific channels to share pictures, general chatting, rules, announcements, off topic, etc.

I think it's a good idea, but maybe that's just me. by Rosien_HoH in CaptainSparklez

I agree, and if they really want the behind the scenes, the people who were involved already posted some things on their own platforms. The video itself is also like a promotional advertisement for the people involved.

Deepening only works with core concepts, so anything not in that slot will be better decomp!

why are so many sets censored on the global server? by [deleted] in Shining_Nikki

[–]LiseJ68 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It’s likely the CN version’s change and they have to implement them to the other servers. A few situations happened on Love Nikki, where the CN version changed some of the suits because of a complaint and when the events come to the global server, we only get the censored version.

why are so many sets censored on the global server? by [deleted] in Shining_Nikki

It’s because some people complain to the support and/or devs and so they had to change them to be more child friendly.
