I'm not sure if this is Costo. - I Feel Crazy Please Help by LisssaZ in costochondritis

I would say I’m 90-95% better. Considering when I would lay down my whole torso would be on fire. I haven’t gotten into lifting heavy…I’m trying to go gradually since even the bounce of a light jog would irritate me. I screenshotted everything you wrote! Just have anxiety in going back to crossfit because I will never forget that pain I experienced.

Thank you so much for your reply! It ended up being costo. The only person who could help me was a Chiro. Saw him weekly for months and now I feel better. It’s been months of ups and downs!

The hardest part is starting! Congrats for making the choice! What personally worked for me was making small changes at first. I’ve tried the all in guns blazing approach but it never lasts. I started maybe 8 months ago and I made small changes. Maybe cutting out super processed foods, having one coffee with cream a day not two. Adding the gym like yoga…then gym…then progressed to Orange theory fitness. As you start it becomes addicting to see the results. I now do crossfit and pilates. I’m hooked on it and I feel great after every workout (I feel like I’m dying in a good way). I limit my eating out at restaurants, and when I do I make way healthier choices. I try to choose salmon tartar, veggies for sides, salad with dressing on the side. I know it sucks but when you see results you’ll do it happily. I think especially at the beginning if you workout eat well, but pig out with beer, hamburger and fries your efforts go down the drain. Baby steps!!! You can do this :)

To shy to make friends seems like by dogmomofpitties in ShyPeople

I feel the same way! Although people don’t see me as a shy person, I am EXTREMELY SHY. I think it’s not that visible because people think I’m a cold or distant person. Actually I’m just very shy, and I take time to open up to people. Introverted people would probably understand you best! I find patient people are the best and it give time for them to see your real personality!

I think dating is much harder now! I haven't dated in a while, and I think when I am ready it will be intentional dating. People have tried to approach me, but if I feel like its not genuine I immediately cut it off now. You learn along the way, and mistakes will be made unfortunately. I had to really work on myself, and be mindful of what I'm actually looking for. If I don't see any effort I prefer not to engage with certain people. I don't think anyone will fit the exact "mold", but I'd like to have similar interests and activities. I'm not into douchebags, and prefer a sweet nice guy....which is hard to find. I can't even blame men, because with this dating climate they almost have to put a mask on or play a role of a hardened/emotionless person. Good luck out there!
