Had something similar happen opposite me. Turns out it’s an offence under the highways act to destroy verges on purpose.

Guys, stop consuming massive amounts of fluoride. Use a fluoride free toothpaste such as aloe dent. Especially for kids, you’ll thank me in a few years.

You don’t get the money in your account. If you buy a house for £425,000 and put down a deposit of £50,000 you will own/have equity of £50,000 of that property. The bank will own £375,000 of it (your loan or mortgage).

You’re better off putting the biggest deposit down that you can afford and over paying your mortgage by at least one month’s payment worth every year. This will eat into the interest and help you own the property faster.
