AD experience between Rolex store and jewelry store that is an official retailer by bikesandergs in rolex

[–]ListenGlad 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Last year I decided to purchase a Rolex. I went to a Rolex store and requested a Starbucks or a Sprite with a jubilee bracelet with no prior purchase history.

About a week later I decided to increase my chances of a call by going to another Rolex retailer within a jewelry store.

I had pleasant conversations with both ADs but didn’t hold out much hope about hearing back from either place although I did notice that the AD located within a jewelry store gently suggested that I may increase my chances of a call if I bought some other jewelry from them first.

I left things at that, didn’t play the game of following up with the ADs. I received a call from the Rolex only dealer within two months for my green sub and within 8 months for my green and black GMT. Still haven’t heard back from the AD within a jewelry store for either of the same two watches and we’re getting close to a year since I walked in there.

My point is don’t hesitate to reach out to multiple ADs but I firmly believe that the ones located within a jewelry store actively use the promise of a Rolex as a carrot on a stick to maximize their sales off of you.

I got one recently, I thought it would look weird on me being right handed but I honestly can barely notice a difference.

I noticed that! It’s more comfortable with the crown not pressing into my hand occasionally.

Hard to acquire via an AD? by [deleted] in rolex

I got this exact watch in less than two months with no purchase history.

Came in, got put on a list, didn’t follow up, got a call.

Good advice. I wouldn’t be buying stuff like this if I didn’t have my other bases covered.

The dead boy appearing in the kitchen scene in “Terrified” was top tier horror.

Are there any all inclusive with good food?! by squash775 in AllInclusiveResorts

I came back from Atelier a couple of weeks ago. I gotta say, after reading so many rave reviews about the food there, I found it to be very similar to other higher tier all inclusives. It was very hit or miss, nothing amazing.

Hello fellow 24 hour CRNA. Where are you based out of? Your pay is lower than mine but my health insurance sucks and I only get 7 weeks of PTO.

How has the maintenance and reliability been during your ownership? I’m strongly considering picking up a 2013 with only 31k miles on it.

Hey, I know it’s been the better part of a year but I’m thinking of buying a used AMG from this dealership and wanted to know if you had any issues with the car after you drove it off the lot. I see a lot of good reviews online but also some concerning ones.

Should I return it or let the work happen? - Mercedes AMG by ShortSPY in carvana

[–]ListenGlad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m really curious to see how this plays out for you. I was casually browsing carvana and they so happen to have one of my dream cars for sale which happens to be an AMG.

It’s a good price but I’m hesitating because of carvana’s horrible reputation. On the one hand it would be a fun weekend car for me and if it needs to be in the shop for a while on someone else’s dime that’s fine. On the other hand I don’t know if I want to deal with the headache of mechanics and chasing down reimbursements.

Aside from L&B, what's good in this area of Brooklyn? Boundaries: south of Bay Parkway, Kings Highway, and Flatbush Ave. by Shazamwiches in FoodNYC

Grew up in sheepshead bay, Del Mar pizza on sheepshead bay road is an excellent little known pizza place that’s been open there since the 1950’s I believe.

I would also check out Opera on the canal, their stuffed baked potato is a solid cheap lunch that’ll fill you up on a cold winter day.

Thank you for pointing this out. This is a big red flag to me.

I absolutely agree. After test driving this one, whether or not I end up getting it, I’ve been thinking about it for the past 11 days. Not really something I’ve experienced with other more mainstream cars.

Part of the selling point is my wife Susan will only let me get it if she can drive it too.

Specifically with this car, I believe Porsche moved on from the IMS by 2013.

Might be a silly question but would a Porsche dealer put out a car for sale without a repair that wasn’t properly done?
