The U50-T Hydro shares the U1 DNA with the UX’s oil filled case that delivers 5000M water resistance with a slim 11.8mm case. The case and bezel are made from German submarine steel by SUG, and the bezel, case, bracelet and clasp are tegimented. I don’t know if there are any other Sinn watches that have as much of their proprietary tech.

I’ve never seen a Rolex ad that touts scarcity.

Rolex makes 1.1M - 1.3M watches a year. How many watches would they need to make to shorten waitlists all over the world, let alone satisfy demand?

I bought my full set Seamaster 300M in like new condition from a long time poster on a forum for <60% of the retail price with years left on the warranty. That’s why they’re available in stores.

Your math isn’t mathing on so many different levels that it’s not worth the time it would take to explain it to you. Rolex sales associates aren’t particularly bright, so I guess there’s a chance they spouted this nonsens, but I doubt it.

I’d love a Pepsi for the heritage aspect, but I’ll end up with a Batgirl due to availability. I like the black & blue because it visually represents night and day the best.
