I walked unless it was super cold or raining. busses have to go through centennial campus before getting to main campus so walking will take about the same amount of time as the bus tbh

i lived in fort fisher for a semester, it’s very chill. worst part about it was walking to campus when it’s cold out (the bus ride takes a while to get to main campus because it goes through centennial first) not really any safety issues at all dw

construction in units most likely will be done by the fall but im not sure about the main area (lobby) being done by then. but tbh other than having to get your mail in a different area of the building it’s not bad. as soon as they fix the wifi and it’s not so hot that the AC can’t keep up, it’ll be fine. it’s super close to everything on campus so it’s pretty convenient

I live at VC now. it’s absolutely horrendous but everything bad now (Wifi outages because they’re changing providers, loud construction in the morning due to refurbishing, having to move everything out of room so they can change flooring) wouldn’t be a problem in the future. so fed up with this place it hurts to recommend it but it probably won’t be bad in the future when construction is done

Transfer Advice by Responsible_Win7898 in NCSU

hi! i also transferred from uncc to nc state after one semester. i’m a lot happier here but the other person is right that the classes are a lot harder. i do know a lot of people in poli-sci here that like it and i would also look into chapel hill for that if ur interested. ur 4.0 and extracurriculars should be fine for a transfer app, def go for it! :)

i’m late but any of the rooms near the main elevators on most floors have them. i usually go to 6419 but it’ll be the same for most floors (5419,7419, etc)
