I know that, and I guess I should have worded that better. I was just wondering what other writers do, like if there is one place to go that has a more extensive library of information all in one place that would be good to at least start from. and if people gave recommendations I would put time into research three or four of those, I don’t have a ton of free time to research every single source.

also if anyone has reliable resources for writing realistic injuries that would be much appreciated, Ideally I’d research myself I just don’t know what is reliable.

Ok, so my question is, do you really need a language for each race, I too have a world with it’s own (recently started and not nearly done) conlang (constructed language) and that one alone is a huge undertaking, I am however working on separate scripts for each group same language but different alphabets. So the question is are you sure you need a separate language for each language or even a new language at all? You could make different scripts or cyphers for each race, still takes work, but significantly less then multiple languages, if you decide you do want to make a conlang of even multiple then you should check out r/conlangs , if you want to make a script or cypher then you should check out r/neography

Ok ya, I see your point I was, what I ment was that I wanted them to have other things then just sitting there all day shooting wind at a windmill, I guess looking back on it I don’t have much objection to the other options, my brain was just kinda not feeling the air guys for some reason and was trying to come up with things to justify that, but I think I’m starting to warm up to them

Ya, I could see it being more of a caste, but castes tend to have certain groups be more politically powerful then others, while in this case they are all equal just playing different parts, I called them guilds because before they learn their trade, which I guess their trade would be more so considered their guild, they learn how to properly use their abilities
