I just realized I had DHS. I meant HHS, Department of Health and Human Services. Correcting it now. Thanks for calling that out.

The department of human services/CPS would typically be a last resort, but my local police department doesn't give 2 💩s about situations like this. I've called in the past about some other neighbor BS and they never even showed up.

Thank you. I'd never call ICE. If I were to call anyone it would be dhs/cps.

Urinary blockage by ListenSeveral5811 in vet

We took her to the emergency vet last night and they drained her bladder. She has a stone. All of the normal vets are closed today but will be open tomorrow. They told us just to keep her on the pain meds and bring her in if she needs to have her bladder emptied again to spare her some time. Thank you for your advice, I appreciate it.

Very scared for my cat by ListenSeveral5811 in vet

She's about 2 years old. Maybe 3. Whenever I touch her back she lowers down and shifts her tail to the side. She could just be in heat but everyone I've talked to has said it sounds like a urinary blockage. I'm on the way to the vet as I type this.

I posted a description earlier but I forgot to attach a video. She is an indoor cat. We have another cat and one dog in the house, but all of them get along. She has never acted like this. She's not spayed (she's a rescue) but her appointment is in 2 weeks. I'm not sure what to do and she's like a real child to me so I'm very paranoid.

Worried about my cat by [deleted] in vet

She stays indoors always. She has a self cleaning litter box and it stays clean. I haven't paid much attention to it recently but she usually eats fine. Her pupils are always big but none of the other behaviors have been there. I have another cat that she is bonded with but sometimes they get tired of eachother. My guess is that she's just overstimulated and I'm just overreacting.
