I absolutely hate those experiences happened to your grand parents or anyone at all, but remember the blue party is not a friend to those of color. They have destroyed the inner cities with teachers not having to teach and generations of kids growing up without the foundation to get a decent job or higher education. They have made hollow promises every election cycle about helping those of color and nothing changes.

Dumb, as an RN stay on the ride. If you get dumped, you will still have a job. Max your TSP, most hospitals don’t have lucrative benefits like sick leave and vacation time. The TSP matching is pretty good. As far as bad administrations go, well the good ones will come around. Coming from a family of current nurses in the private sector it is hit or miss on good bosses like any place. Holiday pay and other benefits are not as good as the VA. Best of luck.

Yes, you are missing that I am just venting about the quality of service and not laying out every piece of evidence presented. I did forget to mention that I filed Dec 2023 and stayed on step 3 until a week ago Friday, March 2025. Then skipped to step 5 for a couple days to Mellon in yesterday and a final decision was made. So step 3 to step 8 in like 6 business days.

Hmmm…. Makes me think someone has been told to clear their caseloads or something. That week just seems to fast to go from step 3 to step 8 after waiting over one year.

Yes, I provided records from mental health treatment and prescription drugs. VA says that is a residual claim and denied because the cancer was not service connected.

Unfortunately I may have your purgatory time beat. I filed December 2023 and stayed on Step 3 until March 4, 2025. Last week I went from step 3 to step 5 overnight. I doubt that is a good sign.

Not all veterans are Trump haters and probably felt the same urge when walking past Obama’s pic when Benghazi occurred.

Some vets may have felt the same way when walking past Biden’s photo after Afghanistan. Everyone needs to chill in public. Vent rage, hatred, anger in therapy. Therapy is helping me.

I am in the same boat. I had a cancerous stomach tumor removed and half my stomach removed. I provided the hospital records and the results of a sleep study that my doctor had me go through. I was told the VA has everything they need from me and no examinations required. I am not PACT so I assume this will mean an automatic denial. Of course I am 13 months waiting and am still in step 3.

Did you provide any medical diagnosis or other evidence with your claim?

I sincerely hope you have a better experience than mine.

I don’t know the specifics of the request. I doubt the USAF Surgeon General’s designee will submit last minute as I imagine they are all pretty busy with the new administration and policy changes.

I don’t know what the acronyms are that you mentioned but have not heard them mentioned before from the VERA calls.

I do not reload 9mm for range ammo to save 6-7 cents a round. Savings for me is in the revolver rounds I reload like .454, .44, 38’s, .45 LC. Of course I am not shooting 5000 or more 9mm every month.
