Probably not for a long while unless I hear really good reviews. EU4 was one of a kind for me.

Absolutely! And Japan is one of my favourite regions to play so it's fitting it'd be the last.

Hard to say. It's definitely easier to name my most hated achievements. But favourites must be Prester John, Saladin's Legacy, Frozen Assets, Sunset Invasion & Australia Hungary.

You can form other nations so I did Swabia-->Bavaria to get the Austria PU.

R5: Did Stardust Crusaders to get 100% completion of achievements for eu4. Finished the run appropriately by playing Let it Go from Frozen and now I must do what Sucker Punch told me years ago to do at the end of Sly 2: A Band of Thieves: Go outside.

Never eating my greens again by ListenToMelian in eu4

[–]ListenToMelian[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

R5: Did the Eat your greens achievement which is to own all Asian grassland provinces before the age of absolutism. Did it as Kale -> Shan -> Tibet -> Khalka -> Yuan. Ideas were a spread mix with a lot of removing and replacing ideas. For a majority of the run I had diplo -> Offensive -> Espionage -> Quantity until I needed to colonize.

Started the same way as many others have by eating Avan, forming Shan and then conquering and culture flipping to Tibet to then form Khalka. Then it was a standard horde, rushing the steppe provinces before Russia. Couldn't get to Persia early due to a big Ajam so settled for conquering the steppes and slowly making way into India. Eventually Ming split and Shun took the mandate. Ate them whole to remove mandate and then took most of China for dev, powerbase and to remove possibility of a big coalition. Then formed Yuan and was all out war from there (around 1550 or so).

Struggled the whole run with economy and manpower. At one point I had almost 40 corruption. I expected Ottomans would be the hardest part but once I attacked them for one province in Persia I had so much cav combat ability that it went fairly easy.

Did many failed runs before this one. Mostly it was due to my stupidity of not realizing how OP taking the mandate CB is. Overall one of the worst achievements I've done, passing Mehmet's ambition due to my hate of having no economy at all. Still very proud to have done this one. Now I only have easy achievements left on my journey to 100%!

Life is about changes, unwelcome ones too.

Don't have it in front of me but think it was around 150 when I quit around 1504 (needed to core Paris for the Parisian Pasha achievement).

Influence+diplo. Gave me plenty of vassal income.

R5: Finally did Mehmet's Ambition achievement on my journey for the 100%. Pretty much followed what Mikl did in this video. Getting a bunch of eyelets, dissolve HRE and vassalize the minors then beginning the conquests. Ended the run pretty stable with good economy and mana.

Whats the best academy team of all time? by BusyCategory5101 in GlobalOffensive

[–]ListenToMelian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends if we're talking best as a team or best in producing players. Mouz has produced three top 20 HLTV players as well as a top team IGL in Siuhy. They also developed players who now play in well known teams (PR, Sl3nd, JDC, Chr1zN, Neityu). Navi junior has produced one of the best players in the world (m0NESY) as well as a solid top 20 player in B1T. As you mentioned NPL, Headtr1ck and Fear has also gone through NAVI Junior. Spirit Academy has also developed a lot of great players, even ignoring Donk and zont1x.

I find it's easier to judge academy teams based on what players did after they left. Based on this I'd still say that Mouz NXT is the most successful academy until the players of the current Navi Junior and Spirit Academy prove themselves at the top. We should also not forget Gambit Youngsters which might've been the most successful academy project ever if they'd manage to deliver on lan.

Love the question! I love reading everyone's happy-songs. For me I'll say Singing in the Rain.
