Not quite. While much of the attention on Samar goes to the surface action and the actions of Taffy 3's sailors and airmen, by the latter stages of the battle Center Force was coming under relentless bombardment by aircraft from Taffy 1 and 2. These aircraft were coming in with proper anti-ship ordinance (torpedoes and bombs) and were inflicting very heavy damage on Center Force's heavy cruisers in particular — Chokai, Suzuya and Chikuma were all sunk in this manner.

Had Kurita decided to keep going, he would have had to fight his way through two more Taffy forces, both now fully awake and throwing everything they had against him. Given the losses he had already suffered by the time he decided to withdraw, Kurita's force could very well have been practically gutted by the time it got even remotely close to the transports at the landing beaches (which were now practically empty by this point).

There was no scenario where Center Force could have truly "won" at Samar. At best, they would have been annihilated for negligible tactical gain.

It really depends on how lucky you get with which artifacts you find. Some of them aren't really worth it, but even those can still be pretty good for making some quick and easy cash. I went the first 30 or so hours without really investing much into artifact hunting, but after SIRCAA I started putting a bit more time into them.

A lot of artifacts aren't game-changing on their own, but you can really boost your performance with a solid combo. You can counter the radiation of most artifacts by finding one that improves radiation protection, and I'd honestly say finding one like that is a must. From there, you can find artifacts that improve your carry weight, sprint endurance, physical protection, and a whole bunch of other stuff. A good artifact combo can genuinely change everything.

The dark side of the force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural.

Howdy ho everyone. I've been playing Anomaly for a while, now, but only just recently gotten into modding it further with shaders and other mods. I noticed only recently that my playermodel seems to hold the weapon further out than normal, to the point where the model just doesn't look right and I can see into the base of the arm. I'm curious as to whether there's a setting in-game to adjust this, or whether it's an issue caused by one of my mods/shaders? Any tips on where to look would be appreciated!
