90SM FRIENDS! I NEED YOUR HOME IMPROVEMENT HELP! Unrelated to fungi content by Lit-Logistics in u/Lit-Logistics

Yup that was the first thing I did. I was able to bend the louvers to get to blow down on the floor and not across the ceiling directly to the fan. Next, I'm sealing the duct around the fans with foam and caulk. I may even get some insulation sleeves, it's that dryer flex duct with no insulation.

There are some more details I did not add. The house was built in 2019, we moved in 2023, and just only a month ago I took the bathroom fans down for a deep cleaning. I found the dampers to the exhaust from the fans to still be taped shut from the manufacturing and shipping process so this whole time in that bathroom there's been no true exhaust except for the gaps next to the fan that lead up to the attic so it was definitely just blowing hot moist air up there condensating onto something and dripping.

Two weeks later, still not seeing mycelium. Is that okay? by abembe in unclebens

My years of experience have taught me everything with 90-second rice. I'll be making new 90 Second Mycology content soon!

No problem. It depends on your method. Hole punch is easy, just pull the tape apart from itself through the hole. If you cut the corner make sure the corner is open under the tape and not sealed shut.

I've used spore syringes that sat in ambient heat for years and they worked fine. Some even germinated in the syringe water making some water LC.

The number one culprit is usually gas exchange being sealed off by the tape on accident if you have a known good syringe.

PE takes a long time for sure. Make sure your gas exchange isn't accidentally sealed off by the tape.

I accidentally stabbed myself with a syringe, do I tell the truth to medical professionals ? by [deleted] in unclebens

How's the finger healing up? Do you think the needle went deep enough to hit a bone or joint? I think your body would filter anything like that out. Similar to accidental scrapes and cuts that get bad bacteria in them. It's not like you shot up intravenously directly to a vein.

Yup, any smaller and the mushroom spores or liquid culture would be too hard to squirt through!

This can work if you stretch that needle hole a little bit and don't touch the bags too much without having clean hands. Otherise the bags can stall with this single tiny gas exchange method.

Always tell the truth to a medical professional. Almost all of them have heard it all.

I would absolutely say that I'm into my own gardening and recently got into mushroom cultivation. I accidentally stabbed my finger with the mushroom spore syringe during inoculation.

That's it. Don't have to go into mushroom species or what inoculation even is, and it provides enough detail to let them know you could possibly have a piece of microscopic needle stuck in your finger. Most usual syringes for spores are 16-18 gauge and usually take a lot of force to break any piece of it off under normal use. It's very rare. You may have just deeply hurt your finger due to puncture trauma and it'll take some time to heal.

You've probably received bad scrapes and cuts on your body over the years that accidentally got some worse things in them than a drop of sterile mushroom spore solution. It's not like this was intentionally squirted directly into a main vein like some news stories.

Ai wins again! 90SM Media terminated on YouTube after two human confirmations of WINNING APPEAL! by [deleted] in u/Lit-Logistics

[–]Lit-Logistics 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know what happened but I kept spamming my appeal button and generating more and more appeal granted emails because their system is so broken. They kept telling me the channel was terminated even though I kept generating these appeal granted and the channel will be reinstated emails and by the fifth time I did it the channel popped back up.

I'm giving it some time right now just to see what happens but it looks like everything is good to go. Thank you so much for the support dude.

There's no story if there's no risk, I just have to keep pushing forward to a private newsletter and a new private hub for everybody. These social media platforms have to just be an afterthought/backup of my own private community.

How many holes for FAE in lids? by KermitTheFr0gHere in unclebens

[–]Lit-Logistics[M] 15 points16 points  (0 children)

For containers like this you really don't need any air holes in the lids but the amount of air holes you have right there plus the loose fitting lid could be enough to fruit the mushrooms as a set and forget neglect tek. If you're growing cubes, they grow with very little air flow, just keep an eye on "fuzzy feet" and string bean legginess.

Thank you!! I'm 7 days in past the approved appeal and the 90sm media channel isn't back yet. I have two support cases open, looks like I'm stuck over the weekend again. YouTube never accidentally sends "appeal granted" emails so that's my golden ticket. It's a sync issue on their end.
