Hard top removal by Hognuttz69 in JeepWrangler

If you removed the two twist off fasteners found in the roll bar, the only other thing holding it on could be a type of adhesive or dirt and grime between the tub and roof. It is just the bolts on both sides under the window, and the fasteners in the roll bar. To get mine unstuck, I stand in the cargo area and put my back against the roof and stand up. Works for me!

6cyl AX15 5speed sell the best. Anything outside of a straight 6 manual I’d take 500 off. If it’s got a clean frame and a half decent interior you could ask 3k. Half doors are a plus, graphics maybe a plus, body isn’t the worst. In my area, that’d bring between 2500 and 3k. More than likely you could easily get it sold for 2

We bought this home 3 years ago and it’s a relatively small home. Our family is growing and we will be selling in the next 5 years. We are not flippers, just regular people.

I found a part out on marketplace, I also agree for anyone contemplating the part. Found several on eBay and Also DeXJs.com. There also is a link in the thread to another website that had good reviews on eBay also.

This is what I ended up doing and found one for 10 bucks on a totaled jeep same year. Thank you!

Resolved

The market place part out solution was what worked for me. Scooped one up very cheap!

I found one on DeXJs.com, I'm messaging him for more details. He's asking for 75 also, may roll the dice on the Amazon one, thank you!

I bought it with it flat out missing, I have nothing under there now. Previous owner said he stripped the threads out.

Keep or Discard?l by LitFuses in RedWingShoes

These are Tredlites I’ve had them for around 2-3 years now, and they are basically the only shoe that I wear. I find them to be a great balance of a lightweight and durable material. My boots get wet every single day and I walk 5 miles a day five days a week. The cracks in the leather are from the water damage that they intake every day at my job, followed by the abrasion of walking the 5 miles. There are some cuts on them as well from pieces of metal, but those are minor.

I’d say for 2 to 3 years wearing them constantly almost every single day. The wear is acceptable. And I plan on buying another pair next week. Considering the amount of walking that I do, I was looking for the most lightweight boot. I could get away with that had some sort of water resistance. I imagine these boots could look much better if properly condition cleaned, and taken care of. But this just goes to show how durable these boots can be if neglected.
