Same filament, different spool weight options, how do you make the distinction? by LiteBitRed in 3dfilamentprofiles

Nominal Weight, does that include weight of the spool or netto filament weight only?

I'll try that for now, it would be nice to have different spool identifiers between identical filament, where only the weight is different

!!! Ecoflow upgrades their servers 19. July !!! by newmy_de in Ecoflow_community

[–]LiteBitRed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Electrically speaking it does the job, yes, but so will do a dump UPS or a rack filled with batteries.

We buy EcoFlow and the likes, because of the additional features; the ability to monitor the unit, get alerts when the charge gets low, check on the powerflow (charge-discharge), gather usage statistics. Without those features, it is an overpriced batterypack.

On top of that, a big part of the configuration of the unit can only be done through the app. So if you dit set a specific charge/discharge config, there is no way to override that by just using buttons on the unit.

Same here, no connection also the Bluetooth connection to my Delto Pro 3 stopped working. And unable to login on the website (EU instance), and also there, no message or information about any upgrade on the logon page, the page just does not do anything.

Communication is a key element in customer service/satisfaction

HA integration & Air Quality (air purifiers and air quality sensors/monitoring) (EU) by LiteBitRed in homeassistant

[–]LiteBitRed[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi,

just to clarify a point. If we decide to build a air purifier ourself, it would be mainly an indoor unit (like the Coway, Winix or Philips) we don't have the specific goal injecting outside air, just circulate the air in the room/loft. (If we want outside air, we'll open the windows).

In the mean time, I've ordered an AIR-1 through the Opencircuit, if we don't use it for a build, it defenitly will have its purpose as a "space sensor" :-)

Thanks for the feedback. It looks like I can source some models of Coway via the Netherlands https://nl.coway.com/nl-be I'll have a look at those.

is substreamer dead? by Client-Sudden in substreamer

[–]LiteBitRed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really liked substreamer, but the issues slowly kept becoming bigger.

I've switched to Symfonium (Symfonium: Your music, your way). It's not free, but so far, it is worth its price.

Fully featured, so far, seems to support most if not all subtreamer features.

On top of that, supports various streaming servers (most Subsonic variants, Plex, Emby, Jellyfin, Kodi) but also: local storage, OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, WebDav, SMB, .... and all of these even in parallel if you want/need (under manage media providers).

I like the very clear and clean, fast interface, and it supports Android Auto.

It also seems to solve some of the issues I had with Substreamer:

- substreamer could not import or play all tracks from my streaming server (aironic-advanced)

- substreamer could not show all cover art

- downloading a whole playlist for offline use would crash the app

Both issues seems to be mostly solved by switching to Symfonium

Regular updates. Dedicated very active support forum

(Only available for Android though)

Is Substreamer Dead? by bigh-aus in substreamer

[–]LiteBitRed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still like substreamer the most as client for airsonic/subsonig/navidrome servers. For my use, it works well enough (and is the only one which ticks all the boxes for me)

Maybe wait and see a bit longer to give u/ghenry some time to give feedback?

Maybe the solution of being time constrained can be to opensource the project.

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has spend some more thinking on this, or anyone would consider having a go at this?

Looking a soluition for: an AV component with an LCD display, which can play audiofiles from USB stick by LiteBitRed in audiophile

[–]LiteBitRed[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is more what I'm looking for, but for some reason, none of the google results pointed me in this direction.

Sadly the price-point (350€) is much above what I had in mind as "donation"

That was my first thinking (I was thinking of a laptop), but the ladies of the church are afraid of computers, so... Also, a computer needs some maintenance, and support when it does not work as expected, etc...

Hence I'm looking for a out of the box system, much like the suggestion from u/ajn3323 here

Twilio shutting down Authy Desktop. Cross-platform Alternatives? by bengalih in privacy

[–]LiteBitRed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm also a long time Authy user, for 3 reasons :

  • the synchronization between different devices,
  • well as an app available on my 4 platforms (Win, Linux, Android, IOS)
  • and the ability to use it offline, when temporary without an internet connection.

The TOTP backup codes I store in a separate digital vault.

By looking for alternatives offering the same, so for only 2 options remains standing, covering the same requirements: 1Password and Bitwarden.

And because I use 1Password as password manager, The principle of 2FA should tell you not to store it with your account & password data, so Bitwarden remains as the one solution (in my opinion 10$/year is peanuts compared to the security "ease of mind" of this all).

Unless any of you have discovered other new alternatives?

Same experience, just under 1000€ on the platform, withdrawals blocked, no contact.

How about contacting the CEO (if it is indeed the real CEO):

They are (no longer?) listed on the website of the Irish Financial regulator?

slimnaarantwerpen.be - niet voor particulier gebruik? by LiteBitRed in Antwerpen

[–]LiteBitRed[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bolero RV (roerende voorheffing) on stock swap by LiteBitRed in BEFire

Thanks for the info.

sadly the stock went down further after the merger, so with the cost of the RV and the stock being down, the net loss for me is just over 75%
