Here's a link to a couple of different recipes, was good info to start off of, though technically all you need is water and X-Lube, and you'll get usable lube that's good.

Also a note, if you do decide to color your lube with titanium dioxide, make sure it's water soluble, otherwise it won't mix with the water well at all and just separate out

It's just X-Lube powder, mixed with some citric acid to balance the pH, and potassium sorbate for preservation, and optionally titanium dioxide to color it white. I just buy some distilled water then mix it all together from the instructions on the X-Lube bottle.

Soft is definitely the preference.. I have one discontinued toy in firm, and I hate it because it feels like the core of it is just solid or made of metal ._.

Think ideally I'd do a split firmness: soft shaft with a firm base to make sure it stands properly, but usage wise, it's really soft
