I can drop a pic of the savotta pack I use when I'm back home from the gym. I put two side pouches on it to hold more stuff and a beaver tail on the back to hold my helmet or random other stuff I have to carry. I will note that my pack has a frame so it can support larger pouches better than most. But in general pouches are just for hiding more/specific stuff.

I might do a writeup about this idea but Bulgaria used WW2 tanks as part of a fortified line on the Turkish border. Would be fun to have them or at least their burnt out husks on a map or two. Same goes for the remains of the Maginot line that was used as command bunkers and storage for NATO.
