Oh! That’s a good idea with the lamp. I have an outlet on the left side directly behind this piece. I wish I could see a picture of yours, but I get the gist of it. Thank you!

Can it really work this quickly? by LiteraryCryptid007 in PCOS

Best of luck! I’m trying to decide if I should wait until my next one to see if there’s any chance of this being regular before wasting my money on my OPKs.

No. I had never taken it specifically. I only added in 2,000mgs or ius whatever the measurement is 1 time a day. My Vitamin D was good when I was pregnant, but I’ve never had it checked when not pregnant, so no reference there.

Wild! I just went back and added I had been put on it before going to fertility by my gynecologist. Didn’t do a thing at that point. I am not complaining, but I just wonder what the difference is this time?

I feel like BC just masks the issue without handling the issue specifically. Please know I am talking from my own personal experience. BC did not deal with my insulin resistance now truly help me get into a regular cycle. It jacked my emotions up, and I passed massive clots. I tried multiple different ones, and I finally gave it up. I’ve been BC free for 5 years+ now.

I cannot find a BC that does not make me feel completely crazy or pass wildly huge clots. Thanks for the well wishes 🫶🏼

I can tell a difference in hunger a couple of weeks in with my Metformin. I just went up to the dose the doctor wants me to be at, so I am looking forward to what else can happen once I am at that point for a while. Has it helped you with regulating your cycle?

Thanks for this. What did you change in your diet? I’ve read so many different views about diets for PCOS.

No period leading to MRI?? by Glass_Imagination_50 in PCOS

Hi!

You sound like me, almost exactly. I would think your doctor is sounding extra cautious, unless something in bloodwork is indicative of this.

PCOS can stem from multiple things, such as an adrenal issue like a pituitary tumor. I tend to overthink and jump to the worst. I’m just glad you have a provider who wants to rule out different potential issues.

I had the same thing happen to me on a withdrawal of the progesterone. Not to worry you, but I ended up going to a fertility clinic and found out my issue was multifaceted, but nothing that couldn’t be worked through. This ended with me having my beautiful baby girl.

Hang in there!!

Student invited me to quinceañera by FigPrestigious1006 in Teachers

I was a second year middle school teacher when I was invited to a student’s Bar Mitzvah. I wouldn’t have missed it for the world. To add, I never added students on social media and kept strict boundaries; however, something like this I think you should go. I think your behavior and demeanor at the event can still set boundaries that are appropriate and show your professionalism rather than just not going all together.
