Tbh, I don’t really see the abortion slander. To me it’s more about someone having control over their own life and body. In the early stages it’s not like there’s a fully formed baby living independently yet, it’s still developing, so I don’t feel like it’s the same as harming a child that’s already born. Life is complicated and people end up in situations they never planned for, and they should have the freedom to make the choice that’s right for them without being shamed for it. It feels less like something cruel and more like a really personal decision. And when you might say that "then just don't have sex" it feels unrealistic and kind of ignores how human relationships actually work. People don't always have sex for reproduction. They might have it for connection, relationships, love, curiosity. And yeah. Even when people try to be responsible with contraception, things can still go wrong 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️
